I also tend to prefer fansubs, I like pretty typesetting and having the option to edit the subtitles however I want.

I prefer fansubs on the whole (mostly for the better screencaps) but I have the CR app on my PS4 and it's very comfy watching anime in bed without having to have a laptop on top of me the entire time so sometimes I trade a little bit of quality for comfort. What can I say? I have my weaknesses.
Um...Just connect your laptop to your TV, and then watch the anime from the comfort of your chair (or bed) without needing to have your laptop on top of you? :-/
