I've grown into a sturdy man.

Oh yeah, my John had been hit by a volleyball and a soccer ball on separate occassion. The latter was effing painful because I wasn't able to stand up for a while and was writhing in agony.

I also had on occassion where a table fell and squashed my feet.
In your case it sounds like you've generally been really unlucky. I hope it's gotten better in later years. :-/

However, my most painful football occurrence was like this:

The rival striker was setting up for a big shot just outside the area.

But at the very last moment I came from the left side and took the ball away with a sliding tackle.

He didn't see me and kicked with all his strength.

My groin was where the ball had been.
Ouch... >_< I have to agree with GundamFSN though, that that is a little funny. Sorry.

O_O >_< That's downright scary! *shudder* I'm glad you were ok...

What's an ACL? I understand from the context that it's a part of your body, and an area somewhere in your leg, but I'm not familiar with the abbreviation.

Be of stout heart. I doubt there'll be anything worse than Nobody's fence story.
