It's a Chrome thing, AFAIK. Or at least it doesn't happen on FF for me, but does on Chrome.

Can confirm it happens on Chrome/Chromium but not Firefox.
Yeah, that. I've occasionally had it happen on other forums, I think, but BL's persisted with it for years.

I tried testing it out and couldn't replicate the italics thing on Firefox or IE. Only Chrome. Though I also noticed an occasional problem where if I press Enter to go down a line and start typing, whenever I backspace after typing a bit it will bring me back to the first line of the post. It seems to happen inconsistently.

That said I bet both things are fixed in new versions of whatever editor vB uses because vB is ancient as hell.
It's a bug inherent to vBulletin and the WYSIWYG editor that vBulletin has ignored for years so it's probably never getting fixed by them. If I was able to poke around in there I might be able to fix it but I don't have access to everything yet.

What browser, when does it happen? Just sitting there reading and it magically scrolls up by itself?
