Of the 2 the second one seems better. Attacking to get the cp doesn't seem so difficult, it's getting the cp needed to do anything but punch. I happen to be lucky enough to have high speed plus knavery for 'free' attacks but others don't.

Starting every battle with like 5 could also help. Effectively the issue is it feels kind of like molasses for cp heavy chars.

Righto. Judging on the general feel I got from IRC, the first option is the more preferred option here and will be the way we will we will be running any subsequent fights from this point onwards.

For what's worth, I think I prefer the second option, however I also think it'd be hard to decide without testing either.
