Well i don't have Anila and I'd rather stick with AES and uncap them as i go on instead of FLB cane and then moving back to AES later.
Beside Cane suck regardless i get way higher dps with this base AES than with a cane grid
well yes you have to flb them to hit harder, turns out
also flb Canes are on par with mlb AES in this new world where triggers end up killing your people or you don't have time to hit enmity percent. Crit kind of offsets that but it's not consistent.

I’m glad to hear that, but still, Ecke Sachs are more than good enough for the extra skill until I can beef up my Canes… mine are still regular MLB… no surprise there since I’ve largely stopped playing for a while now.

Colo canes are good in a world with anila and Fire Xeno weapons being the best weapon types but uh
AES are really good too actually, and give better damage over canes. They're just more annoying to grind. And they give so much HP you can survive most triggers. Even in ubhl you manage to hit enmity percent without too much difficulty if you know when to press the attack button.
And with the way Magna Crit works, AES crit is actually quite consistent.with 5 aes and a 120 colossus, you get like... a 70% chance of critting for 50% extra damage?

Make a weapon that can stack to 100% magna crit with just one 120% magna modifier do it you won’t
Yeah, canes are pretty good with Anila, it is my main grid because I am lazy at grinding for aes.
This new event is pretty neat, now you need to think and make 3 good teams to do the nightmare and impossible fights, lucky that I got enough SSRs and FLB SRs to do it, the girls from Idolmaster are really good as support units.
Lucky you. Water is my weakest setup in terms of characters. Aside from Izmir. And she's not even summer Izmir...
This sword can be FLBed... but is it actually worth doing? I honestly can't tell. There are so many other possibilities, especially since if I got a Shiva weapon, Aliza's stupidly high damage could get even higher and this would probably be using up its spot...

Idk what possessed me to grind that much but yeah ... I'm literally two Grimnir Harps away from getting out of his hell now
The sword is worth FLBing, from what I hear. sl15 EX modifier is nice if you have no Xenos, and the 15% cap bonus to skills can be situationally pretty good! Also worth noting a lot of "Does extra damage after ougi" effects are counted as skill damage, like with fire metera/Magisa, so it has worth there too.
Also apparently a good mainhand for swordmaster/glorybringer, from what I hear. Haven't heard comparison with Xeno Katana, which is PRETTY HARD to top, but if you don't have the Katana it can substitute for a good while.
Good weapon. Might not be hyper optimal I'll-use-this-forever tier, but a Good Weapon.
