I'm surprised we have not gotten a magi that does something with sacred geometry.
Maybe they set up area that increase the affects of their magecraft? sorta like a amplifier?
Now I'm kinda imagining that thing from good omens were a demon set up a highway in the shape of like a demonic sigil and it was fueled by the anger of the people stuck in traffic jams.
On another note, if one can get powerful magecraft from childrens fairy tales like with Alice in mahou, I'm kinda curious of one could do it based on common phobias like spiders, the dark or sharks.

Another one I'm curious about is a mage who does his or her work based on the theories of numerology. Having spells with certain numerological values to increase their power depending on effect or intent. I'd do it myself, but that's a lot of numbers, and my poor english-wired brain doesn't do well with those xD

Yes he would; that does not help. He was the most boring of the KnK villains, so presumably if we were to create something like that, we'd need to be more creative. At least in terms of constructing this hypothetical mage's powers.

When I consider how powerful an OC mage in the Nasuverse should be, I consider Touko to be an upper limit. She is supposedly one of the more powerful mages in the 'verse without being rediculously OP. I've got three OC mages in mind right now, and only one of them is around that level.

She's a good solid upper limit. Anything above a combination of near-primordial runes, several top-class puppet familiars, one rediculously OP shapeshifting nature spirit familiar, several hijacked magic crests, indestructible mystic codes, and near-immortality via backup bodies should be considered too OP for the purposes of this thread.
