...okay, it makes more sense in my head, so I'll attempt to transfer the thought to this post.

See, the kid had no idea he was a First-gen magus, and would have died without reaching any potential had, in this situation, some blood not gotten in his eyes. He ends up being granted the Command Spells instead of Uryuu, and the ritual accepts him as a Master instead, simply because of an in-setting quirk that makes it different from canon... he had a catalyst for a pair of eyes.

Hmm... this is a bit of a surprise these days.

An archive of my works on the forum that's pretty accurate.

Note that I don't wish to be seen as an idiot any longer. I can't always promise better works than before, but I can sure as hell try, alright?

makes sense to me, it's kinda like reika but if reika was a magus, had a mark of the chosen, and summoned jack instead hyouma.

    Oh! Oh! I got one!

First-rate magus who worked her way from nothing to the top of the food chain and managed to earn the attention of the Vice Director of the Clock Tower to eventually be brought under her wing as her disciple.

Here's one I worked up in the meantime.
    Spoiler:

    Name: Servus Barberi
    Age: 10
    Gender: Male
    Magecraft: Formalcraft
    Circuit Quality: B
    Circuit Quantity: B

A made to order homunculus. Born deep in a tube and fully grown and dressed before most babies cry for the first time. He serves as the butler for his masters the Barberi family. A rather large family with many children, he has been assigned to care for the children magi to act as a teacher of sorts but thinks of himself as a "Babysitter". As with most families the Barberi only teach one heir at a time so Severus attends to the other children and endows them with enough knowledge to that they could take place as heir to the family should something happen to the current one.

He is proficient in Formalcraft, utilising rituals and magic circles. However with his above average magical circuits he can serve and protect the family but due to his specialisation he cannot be considered a" threat" by the Barberi or gain enough power to attempt to gain freedom. Not that he cares for it. He performs all tasks to maximum capacity whether it be magecraft tutorship or housework and although considered insignificant and easily replicable by the Barberi, he is deeply loyal to those he is in service to, even if he will never be considered "family".

As I sit here trying to come up with sexytimes that'd feel fresh for me, I'll procrastinate.

    Spoiler:
    Name: Ellis Jane
    Other Names: n/a
    Gender: Male
    Birthday: June 23
    Height: 179 cm
    Weight: 67 kg
    Hair Color: Blonde
    Eye Color: Gray
    Blood Type: O
    Place of Birth: Canada
    Likes: Straightforwardness, exotic foods
    Dislikes: Small-talk dishonesty
    Talents: Sleight of hand
    Natural Enemy:
    Image Color: Indigo

An Enforcer with the Association. Within the Clock Tower, his status is much like that of Bazett, for a rather similar reason: his family, once up-and-coming within the Association centuries ago, immigrated to the Americas and cut all ties with their homeland. In the modern time, Ellis returned to Britain, his family having picked up Native American shamanistic methods in the time they were separated, and hoped to apply those skills atop an orthodox Clock Tower education. Instead, he was regulated to Enforcer duties; his divination abilities adept at tracking targets.

In combat, Ellis uses an eclectic mix of knife- and short stick-fighting techniques paired with a snap baton Mystic Code. The thaumaturgical formula attached to the baton is a hard-and-fast version of the tracking spellwork his family specializes in, planting a concept of "seek" upon the target. Ellis then uses traditional jeweled magecraft which then hone in on the places his baton connected with, lessening the need for the gems to be large and powerful as they become very specifically anti-personnel in nature. Where melee combat is unsuitable, he uses a scoped crossbow to deliver a similar formula at range. He lacks the overall power to challenge top-class magi, however, so he is often partnered with one or more others with suitable firepower. Outside of battle, Ellis' magecraft is based on certain shamanistic divinations and luck charms that make him particularly suitable as a individual-seeking bounty hunter.

So, I make reference to this guy in both Hearts and in What I See. In the former, he's in a couple of scenes with the Clock Tower people as something of a field lieutenant to Fiore and, although not specifically named in the scene, the one that initially breaches the Church and is then subdued by Caren and her shroud. In the latter, he's one of the guys that initially secured Shiki, creeps out Rin, then seems to deliberately let Shiki and Rin go when he has a chance at them as they escape. I've been kinda layering in some things there that hopefully make the overall feel of stuff later on in Hearts more complex and all. Maybe.

He's named--because I'm stupid and lazy--for Ellis Island and the protagonist of the murder mystery show The Mentalist.

Thank you for making me IRL as a magus. Is the "Natural Enemy" part intentionally left blank?

I guess I'll make one too.

    Spoiler:
    Name: Tomas Pinpin
Aliases: The Patriarch of Filipino Printers
    Gender: Multiple (originally male)
    Height: Multiple (originally 135 cm)
    Weight: Multiple (originally 72 kg)
Birthday: Multiple (the year is 1580, date unknown)
    Hair Color: Multiple (predominantly black)
    Eye color: Multiple (predominantly brown)
    Blood Type: Multiple (original unknown)
    Place of Birth: Philippines

    Natural Enemy: ???

A Filipino magus from the 16th century who has survived until the present day due to unsavory means. He was a writer and translator, but his fundamental craft was publishing. Therefore, the Spanish commissioned him to print books that would further their influence over the newly-conquered Philippine islands. Due to his great accomplishments, he was crowned with the title "Patriarch of Filipino Printers" and became eligible for the position of Heroic Spirit. As such, due to his peculiar nature, two copies of himself can exist in the World at the same time: the Servant, and the magus.

Said to have died sometime in the early 17th century. However, he continued to exist by trapping all information regarding himself into pages of the books he published. When someone reads this page, it activates a spell that brings out a part of the reader's personality that is similar to Tomas Pinpin, as well as a command to associate with other readers of his books. Together, all the readers create a collective personality that is Tomas Pinpin.

While alive, he was an expert in Kabbalah and all sorts of rune magecraft from the Far East, such as Chinese oracle bone writings and the ancient Filipino writing system, baybayin. However, this was erased when his physical body died. Now, his separate bodies all specialize in different magical fields in order to bring about the original's ambition: create a link between the Moon and his printing presses, and publish the entirety of the Moon's data banks gained from observing the Earth.

The original idea was something like the Hundred-Faced Hassan, with each individual holding a fraction of the original magus' personality. The whole "reading his books makes turns you into him" thing was obtained from a Filipino superhero comic book I read a while ago. It's a bit weird and I'm not really good with the magus aspect of the Nasuverse, so please be gentle.

I'll say this; he's definitely scary. If you were going for something similar to, but not exactly like Hundred-Faced Hassan, you're doing it right. In my opinion.
Now, how does he plan on achieving his ambition? That's what I want to know.

Pinpin: Given that's he's a historical figure (and one you even mentioned to be HS eligible) I'm a little surprised you didn't put this up in Create-A-Servant. Then again, I suppose this thread needs more love.

There are probably a few historic figures who don't qualify as heroic spirits, the likes of Frankenstein comes to mind.

cool concept, if I can take pride for myself

    Name : Lima Department
    Origin : ???
    Elements : ???
    Alignment : Neutral Evil
    Age : 17 (physically)

Department, That is what they called themself. Originally a group of scientists, they pursue magecrafts for the sake of their country.

Oneday somehow they finally possess a magic circuit- albeit a very low quality one. They started experimenting to expand the magic circuit, abandoning their moral and ideal for the sake of magecraft. At that moment they were become a typical mage.

Subject 05, Codename : LIMA. The masterpiece they finally created. Their symbol of hope, hardwork and dream. After many experiments they successfully expand the worthless magic circuit to became massive but unstable, which normally impossible. The massive magic circuit replace most of LIMA internal organ, but she still able to function normally as a living being, which also impossible.

Blinded by their greed and dreams, they overlooked logic and evidence. Such irony from a group of scientists. It supposed to be impossible, but they did it anyway- They thought.

In truth- what LIMA had wasn't an amazing magecraft, but a very dangerous low quality magecraft. The ability to link various body parts with foreigner objects without actually removing them, Spatial Connect.

LIMA- traumatized with the horrible experiment, she 'captured' every single of them and linked their brain to her own- gaining the ability to calculate as fast as 20 people combined. But it's not only end there, she sets free to wreck havoc in the surface.

    Abilities :
    Spatial Connect
A low level magecraft. It primary ability is to make a wormhole from one's body to an object nearby. The object must in 10M radius and should fulfill one of this two conditions :
    A) The object must be in her sight
    B) She must possess something similar with it.
Its unable to connect part with similar function, that's mean she can't replace her muscle with stronger muscle, but it able to replace her muscle with magic circuit or steel wire.

    Modified Body
Being a subject to experiments, her body is modified to able to recover faster and quick to chemically reacted with other molecules. This allow her to attach her body part with foreign object. Combined with Spatial Connect, she able to connect her body part without replacing her real body parts.

For some reason, watching old Silent Hill clips even though I'm a fucking pussy and it'll make me afraid to go to sleep tonight. But yeah, reminded me.

The unnamed magus in Went Left had a bit of functional magic stuff that I never really needed to cover for the story. His magecraft was meant to be based around photography and art, specifically super old-school photography and the mystique that surrounded it--like how superstitiously it was sometimes thought to steal part of your soul. The patrollers he had in the forest were supposed to evoke The Scream artwork figure, while the ones on the inside of the mansion are supposed to seem like a person in an very overexposed photograph. The way the house changes shapes and offers penrose staircase traps is specifically because of how you can manipulate perspective in photography and art. The dragon-like phantom he attacks with is like image artifacts that seem like something with form. Even his mind flayer look is supposed to be because he simply likes sea creatures and used a spell to in essence "substitute" himself with a squid creature's photo ala Dorian Grey.

Basically I took Touko's suitcase and tried to expand on it.

Well, if Silent Hill got me more details on Mind Flayer Mage, all I can say is more power to Pyramid Head and those nurse…things. I did like the Mind Flayer Guy. If I were trying to name him, I would expect him to have a surprisingly ordinary name. And of course, I'd also ask him what his name was as though he were standing in front of me. It's worked for me before.

Wouldn't his natural enemy be willful trespassers? He seemed very concerned with keeping other people away.

Back to Silent Hill, the fact that you're even capable of looking at its content of at all suggests you still have very strong psychological fortitude. Haunting Ground and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Those were all I could manage. Actually Eternal Darkness is supposedly one of the scariest games out there, just in a different way. Now I just need to find some more truly Lovecraftian games.

Haven't made a magi in a while so... here
    Spoiler:

    Name: Victor Frankenstein
    Age: Over 200
    Gender: Male
    Circuit Quality: A
    Circuit Quantity: A
    Circuit Composition: Inverted

The creator/"parent" of the fabled Frankenstein's Monster. A scientist and alchemist, he was loved by his parents and lavished by his parents. He was "rewarded" for his intellect by his parents in the form of Elizabeth Lavenva, an orphan girl who was adopted by his parents to give him companionship. He later married her… Ew.

He desired to recreate Adam and Eve to stroke his near infinite ego and become closer to God. He created an artificial life-form that does not have emotions. This was, to him, equivalent to a badly made living creature. And thus he abandoned her. He feared his creation and ran from it till "She" caught up to him and demanded he create a mate for her, but he refused as he did not want to create another failure. This started a revenge rampage that got everyone he loved killed by his creation - including his bride. In a last bid to escape, he created a false body of himself to be born dead and allowing himself to escape from his monster forever, ignorant to her final fate.

He has survived throughout the years by creating a new body for his consciousness to travel into. As his knowledge grew over the decades and vastly improved on his craft, he has experimented with his bodies. He is able to create new and more powerful bodies - having to "borrow" high quality magical circuits from powerful magi in order to create more powerful bodies in terms of magical energy and on a tangible level. His physical prowess is equal to that of an Olympian athlete and magical power equal to that of a head magus from several generations.

He has a problem however. Every time he jumps into a new body, it lasts less time before expiring and he cannot figure out why.

He has a unique version of the "Masters Vision" as instead of viewing parameters in terms of rich and expensive ore such as; Mythril (EX), Diamond (A), Gold (B), Silver (C), Bronze (D) and Iron (E).

Regardless of his talent, he is flawed in mentality. He just doesn't "Get it."

I like this one. He's dramatic, and very ominous. This one definitely lacks self-awareness, and I do have to wonder... is the Monster still alive? Is she still searching for him? And what does he plan to do if she finds him?

The one problem that I have is that it feels a bit like the 'rotting' problem that Dante had in Fullmetal Alchemist 2005. Not that Zouken is all that different though, so this is good.

Thanks. As for the monster, she's Berserker of Black in Fate Apocrypha and also appeared on the London chapter of Grand Order.

As for Dante, I never watched the 2005 version of FMA.

Wait. Isn't he the guy from Noblesse?
