Yeah, I know the deal. Mystic Eyes of Distortion damaged Fujino's brain and took away her sight. HF Shirou's Archer arm causes catastrophic damage to him every time he uses it.
Actually, what do Mystic Eyes of Death Perception do to you? Kill everything you touch, or maybe drive you insane if you lack the discipline to control them? (Or don't have mystic eye killers)
Sorry, this is probably explained to some degree in Tsukihime, and there are still several other things on my list before I check it out.
