Hello yes, this is an experiment/a joke I made at Snow that became real

The basic concept is that we pick a shitty manga, and once a week set a date by which point X amount of chapters should be read and be declared ready for spoiler free discussion. First up on the chopping block is a little series called Ubel Blat.



Ubel Blatt wishes it was Berserk. A lot. But it doesn't really understand what is good about Berserk. Instead, this story about The Man With the Black Sword is more like someone read Berserk, but found everything that didn't involve blood and titties to be lame and only liked Black Swordsman Guts instead of Dad Guts. Also the very first chapter guest stars Rape Horse, and he starts us off on a road that is somehow less lady friendly than Berserk by dint of dark sorcery I guess. Also the art is very weak and the composition is even weaker, characters have a tendency to just sort of teleport for example.

By 8 AM GMT Saturday, those who wish to participate in this nightmare should endeavor to read the first 50 chapters of Ubel Blatt.

I'm on 39 personally, I just set it at a fairly early but major arc conclusion

Generally that just means you restrict yourself to what's before the chapter limit in discussion but if we all start blowing way past it early we can just open things up.


this is legit probably the worst manga I've picked up since like, GATE, it's kind of amazing

I've only played Evenicle and that 3DS one but they seemed like alright RPGs to me

Eushully stuff on the other hand is just a chore to play
