Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.

Yeah, it's like...according to Slenderman mythos, he's been around forever, with the first sighting in 9th century B.C.. But still, don't put Slenderman in this thread, y'know? That's not a perfect example, but generally with sheets like this, even if you could maybe kinda sorta somehow fit it into canon, it still doesn't feel like it belongs here.
edit: Besides, the other thread is the "modern fictional Servants" thread not necessarily the "non-canon compliance" thread. Usually that's the case but I don't think it always has to be.

Servant Lancer:
True Name: Damasen 'The Peaceful Giant'
Alignment: Neutral Good
Alternate Classes: Rider, Berserker, Monster
Strength- A+
Agility- B+
Endurance- A
Mana- B
Luck- E
NP- B+
Equipment: A humungous spear carved out of dragon bone.
History: Lancer's true identity is Damasen, a giant of Greek Mythology. The giants are a warlike species of exceptional strength, crafted by Gaea herself for the sake of fulfilling her vendetta against the gods. Each giant was specifically created to be the destroyer of a particular Olympian god, with Damasen being the rival of Ares.
However, when the inevitable war between giant and god came to pass, Lancer held no interest in fighting. What Gaea did not foresee was that, as the anti-thesis to Ares, Damasen himself was calm and peaceful as opposed to warlike. His interests were farming and tending to his sheep, not bloodshed.
Damasen continued to live a simple but peaceful life until the day when a monstrous beast known as the Drakon began terrorizing the fields where he lived. This beast wreaked havoc across the Lydian kingdom, slaying men and destroying livestock.
Though Damasen's appearance was terrifying, there was one human who could look past the giant's imposing stature. A young man named Tylos, a farmer like Damasen himself, who quickly become inseperable friends with the giant.
However one day, that happiness came to an end. The Drakon attacked and killed Tylos as he was walking down a river-bank, wrapping its serpentine body around him and spitting the poisonous juices of fate down the young farmboy's throat.
When Damasen learned of this from a passing nature spirit, he was enraged. For the first time in his life, the normally peacable giant genuinely wanted to kill something. He set upon the Drakon and attacked it brutally, engaging in a vicious combat that sent tremors through the earth itself.
Finally Damasen hefted up an entire tree trunk from the ground and brought it down upon the beast's head, impaling it and ending the fight. No sooner then the tree's roots touched the ground they began to grow anew, affixing the defeated monster's corpse forever to the earth.
While his deed was unmistakably just, Gaea was filled with rage at his heroic actions. Damasen was a giant created to destroy the gods, not to help those foolish humans that cursed and defiled her own soil so many times. In anger, the earth itself opened up under Damasen's feet and brought him down to Tartarus. Those dismal depths were where he was to spend the rest of eternity, no longer seeing the light of the stars nor feeling the gentle touch of rosy-fingered dawn.
To make matters more arduous, he was cursed to forever recreate his feat of slaying the Drakon each and every day. No matter how many times he killed the wretched beast, it would reform once more to attack him sometime the following day. Though in other ways Lancer's existence was still peaceful, able to farm and toil with the crops in the underworld, what he truly felt was a deep abiding sense of despair.
A tragic end to a truly noble hero; showing that the just are not always rewarded in this world.
Appearance:
Personality: A calm and compassionate individual, greatly unlike the violent and arrogant personalities exhibited by his fellow giants. Gentle and kind, Lancer is someone who treasures the simpler values in life. To be able to know the warmth of a loving friend, to tend to his flock of sheep with dignity, to look up at the clear night sky and behold a tapestry of countless shining stars. But alas, even those modest privileges were denied to Lancer in life. As such, his kindly personality is one tinged with unmistakable bitterness and sorrow. While mostly hiding such a side from others, Lancer despises his fate even as he feels resigned at any attempts to change it. A pessimist who wishes he were an idealist.
Normally calm and peaceful, Lancer is far from a pushover. Forgiving of any violence aimed against himself, he will respond with righteous fury towards any who'd senselessly attack innocents, devoting all his strength to destroying the offender. Lancer's wish on the Holy Grail is to be able to escape his fate in Tartarus, to once again be able to live peacefully on the surface and watch the stars. For the sake of that simple dream, he who abhors violence takes up arms to fight in the Grail War.
Likes: the sky, stars, nature
Dislikes: dark and gloomy places, the Drakon, fate
Talents: farming, dragon-slaying
Natural Enemy: Ares, his mother Gaea
Class Skills:
Magic Resistance (B)- Cancels spells with an incantation below three verses, proving difficult to affect even by the likes of High Thaumaturgy or Greater Rituals. As a son of Gaea born to oppose the gods, Lancer is endowed with a naturally high degree of mystery that allows him to repel Magecraft of all sorts.
Personal Skills:
Vitrification (B)- A serenity and calmness of mind that bestows protection against mental interference. Can also be used to conceal one's fighting spirit from others in a similiar fashion to the Skill Presence Concealment. Created as the giant counterpart of Ares, Lancer has calmness and composure to match the war god's rage and bloodlust. At this rank, most forms of mental interference can be resisted with ease. The combination of his immense physique and lack of any apparent aura emanating from him make it paradoxically easy for Lancer to conceal himself, appearing as if he were a large boulder or feature of the natural world rather then a living being.
Medical Techniques (A+)- Qualifies one's proficiency in the healing arts. Contrary to his warlike brethren, Lancer's ability as a healer was legendary. By gathering magical herbs and various plantlife Lancer can compose potent healing elixirs able to cure all but the most severe of mundane injuries. With specialized materials, he can even craft potions which can negate supernatural poisons and curses.
Gigantomachy (A-)- A Skill connoting those born out of Gaea herself for the sake of conquering and waging war against the Olympian Gods. A composite including Divinity and Monstrous Strength of equal rank. Furthermore, as each giant was created to oppose and neutralize a specific member of the Olympian Pantheon, parameter increases are dealt when facing an opponent descended from the relevant divinity. Gaea intended Lancer as an anti-thesis to the war god Ares, so in his case said bonuses manifest themselves against foes with the blood of War in their veins. However, since Lancer himself is of a pacifistic nature and never engaged in the famous war against the gods which his fellows participated in, this Skill suffers from a - modifier. While Divinity and Monstrous Strength are constantly active, the specialized anti-Ares aspect has only a 1/5 chance of activating in any given battle.
Military Tactics (E?)- Tactical instinctive ability used not for one-on-one combat, but a battlefield where many are mobilized. A boon granted to Lancer to serve as a better counterpart to his natural archenemy Ares. However, given Lancer's pacifism and refusal to embrace warfare this Skill is almost entirely sealed, manifesting solely as an instinctive ability to defend against the Anti-Army Noble Phantasms of others. Should he ever truly tap into his giant heritage, the rank rises to A.
Natural-Born Warrior (C)- A Skill for those who were warriors from birth. Similar to Eternal Arms Mastery; fighting prowess does not degrade due to fatique over the course of battle nor any kind of mental interference. Lancer was described as someone fit to wield a spear since boyhood and, though he detests combat, martial techniques are engrained into his very being.
Noble Phantasms:
Drákos Diatrypón- Destruction Of The Foul Beast (B+, Anti-Unit): A Noble Phantasm crystallizing the method by which Lancer slew the Maionian Drakon, a monstrous serpent that had been ravaging the fields of Lydia. Ripping an entire tree up from the ground roots and all, Lancer plunged his makeshift lance down the beast's gullet. His mighty blow split the Drakon's skull, felling it instantly while the tree's roots began to grow anew upon touching the ground, anchoring the fallen monster's body to the earth in a display of triumph.
A very simple and unrefined Noble Phantasm befitting Lancer's nature. To utilize it, Lancer simply picks up an object that can in some way be conceptualized as a [spear] and concentrates all his strength into an immense downward stab. As the slaying of the Drakon was doubtlessly Lancer's greatest moment of martial glory and the pinnacle of his heroic legend, his already exceptional Strength is boosted by one ranking while recreating this mythical feat, while the foe's Endurance is likewise treated as a rank down from its original stature.
In addition to piercing damage from the spear itself, the impact creates powerful shockwaves which ravage the opponent's body from within, shattering bones and rupturing organs. Should it connect, it is all but assured to be a lethal technique which can fell even dragons, the strongest of the Phantasmal Races, in a single mighty blow.
However, its true magical property is shown when the spear finishes its downward descent through the enemy's body and embeds into the nearest flat surface beneath them. Upon doing so, the spear anchors itself to the ground while still impaled through the enemy's body, affixing them to a single spot. It is not mere force that anchors the spear but a magical property, making it impossible to remove or destroy by anyone below Lancer's own ranking in Strength. Even if the target somehow survives, they are effectively rendered helpless at this point.
Mirroring Lancer's legend of slaying a dragon with this technique, it deals doubled damage against any targets with draconic blood or ancestry. Also, while Lancer mainly invokes it through the Drakon-bone spear he carries, any weapon that possesses the suitable shape of a 'spear' can be used for that purpose, including telephone poles or entire trees. However, if the object is incapable of withstanding Lancer's immense strength then it will assuredly shatter in the process, dealing greatly lowered damage and completely removing the opportunity of pinning the enemy. Being closer to a 'technique' then a true Noble Phantasm (in the lines of Heracles' Shooting Hundred Heads), it requires remarkably little Mana to invoke.
Maionian Drakon- Eternal Nemesis Of The Virtuous Giant (A+, Anti-Army, Anti-Self): The monstrous dragon which Lancer slew after it terrorized the fields of Lydia. The spiteful earth mother punished his heroic action by imprisoning Lancer in Tartarus, forcing him to continually encounter and kill the same beast every day. That torment was to be Lancer's fate for eternity, making the Drakon an integral part of Lancer's own existence as a hero. That beast still persists in dogging after its heroic rival across all of space and time. Thusly, it is impossible to summon [Heroic Spirit Damasen] without also summoning the [Maionian Drakon].
For every day after Lancer is summoned, the Drakon will form out of the ground somewhere around him and attack. A gigantic serpent as long and thick as a subway train, with a beautiful hide of gleaming yellow-green scales and cruel emerald eyes. As a member of the Dragon-Kind, it is an extremely powerful and dangerous beast easily a match for most Heroic Spirits. The Drakon can slither along the ground at impossible speeds and coil around targets to crush them with the strength of a trash compactor. It also possesses highly venomous yellow saliva which can be injected through a direct bite or spat out at enemies in the form of a projectile.
This is no mundane poison but one bearing the curse ofitself, insuring a destined demise in any misfortunate enough to be exposed to it. Withstanding its effects is not a matter of conventional endurance or resistance to poisons but rather on one's ability to defy preordained fate itself- in other words, Luck.Moirafate
When slain either by Lancer or anybody else, the Drakon will sink back into the earth and disintegrate, leaving only its regal hide. The next day, it will reform again the same as before to resume its attacks on Lancer. While the Drakon is focused on Lancer most of all, it is also a highly violent beast that will lash out and attack anyone in the vicinity. Though primarily a curse, it can be turned to Lancer's advantage by positioning the beast in a situation where it's more likely to attack his foes then himself.
It can prove useful, but more then anything this is an accursed Noble Phantasm unworthy of the name, embodying all of Lancer's bitterness and sorrow as a hero. Also, since the Drakon spawns randomly around Lancer, his Master must exercise due caution when around him lest they fall victim to its attacks.
Summoned in the Rider Class, Damasen would exhibit a greater degree of control over this beast, even able to possibly mount and subdue it to his will in some scenarios. However as Lancer, it is near-wholly uncontrollable.

A more mythical Servant this time around. I admit to taking quite a bit of artistic license with his (relatively sparse) legend and a lot of it is admittedly based off his portrayal in the Last Olympian series of novels by Rick Riordan. However, since he's still a mythical figure I feel comfortable posting this here rather then in Modern Fiction. He's probably a little wanked, but since giants are... well, giants and really freaking powerful, I'd say it's fair enough.
As always, be sure to drop by with comments and criticisms! Thanks.

I want to see this thread go without a single Servant being posted for two weeks.
