AvengerEmiya, I heed your challenge!
Servant Striker:
Identity: Spirit of the Olympics
Alignment: Neutral Good
Alternate Classes: Lancer, Archer, Rider
Strength- D (B)
Agility- D (B)
Endurance- C+ (A+)
Mana- C
Luck- B
NP- A+
Appearance: A short olive-skinned girl with a slender, yet toned build and undercurrent of muscles ripping beneath her slight, girlish frame. Has remarkable sea-green eyes and light brown hair done up into a tomboyish bob, with two long braids hanging at either side. Wears a white Chiton dress cut short for ease of movement, baring most of her long, athletic legs. Sports rather anachronistic form-fitting black tights under said chiton, with matching fingerless gloves wrapping her hands. Bronze sandals cover her feet, with straps criss-crossing over her calves. A vibrant green laurel crown adorns her head, symbolizing her authority as spirit of the Olympics.
Personality: Fitting for the embodiment of the Olympics, Striker possesses a vigorous and fiery personality overflowing with competitive spirit. Likes physical competitions of all sorts and is the type to never back down from a challenge. Holds great affection to the demigod Heracles, whom she refers to as 'papa' for his role as mythological founder of the Olympics. In the same way, she views the various athletes who participated in the Olympics as her 'family'.
Though seeming like a chaste athlete, Striker also has a more lewd side to her that is easily enamored of handsome and athletic men and women of all kinds. Her usually controlled demeanour evaporates to leave her a blushing, drooling mess before such individuals. It truly can be called Heroic Spirit Striker's greatest weakness. Her wish on the Holy Grail is simply to be able to form a 'harem' of all the powerfully built legendary heroes from across history. This girl... who does she think she is, some kind of Otome game protagonist?
Likes: Heracles, pushing her body to its limits, athletic men and women
Dislikes: laziness, inherent limits
Talent: all the skills necessary for an athlete
Natural Enemy: "An athlete's only enemy is their own self!"
Class Skills:
Natural Weapon (A+)- Ability to utilize one's body as a weapon. When fighting unarmed, physical parameters go up by two full rankings. An athlete's greatest weapon is not anything they carry, but their body itself, the product of a lifetime of training to hone and master their art.
Magic Resistance (C)- Cancel spells with an incantation below two verses. Cannot cope with the likes of High Thaumaturgy or Greater Rituals. Though 'born' in the Age Of Gods, Striker's peculiar nature as a Heroic Spirit insured that she never encountered any magic in life.
Personal Skills:
Prowess Of An Athlete (A++)- A unique Skill sublimating one's fitness for the various challenges presented in the Olympic Games of ancient Greece. Discus and javelin throwing, long-distance sprinting, pankration, boxing, chariot and horse riding can all be displayed at B~A+ ranked proficiency.
Eternal Arms Mastery (A+)- Arms prowess that does not degrade under the effects of mental interference. By complete merging of mind, body and technique, it becomes possible to make full use of one's fighting skills under any kind of mental hindrance. As embodiment of the Olympics, Striker inherits the resolve of all athletes who dedicated themselves utterly to their art.
Noble Phantasm:
Kleos Aphthiton- Undying Glory Of The Stadium (A+, Support): The Olympic games were truly the most momentous religious occasion in Ancient Greece. Countless souls gathered from across the provinces to compete for glory and fame immemorial. Those who won would have their names etched into the fabric of legends forever as heroes or demigods, while even the defeated would gain respect for their valiant efforts.
As spirit of the Olympics, Striker bears a record of each and every athlete who participated in her games. Any one of these athletes can be summoned as Masterless Servants to fight under her command. Though many were ordinary men and women of their era, victory at the Games raised them to the level of living legends. It could be said that the Olympic Games of old were a means of transmuting ordinary humans into Heroic Spirits.
As Heroic Spirits, they boast idealized physical bodies and incredible prowess far exceeding modern man. They are not automatons or wraiths, still retaining their personalities and unique dispositions from life. Though not forced to obey Striker, there is a natural compatibility between the Heroic Spirit of the Olympics and its participants such that true conflict is unlikely to arise.
Summoning and sustaining these athletes requires a great deal of magical energy from Striker. About five or so are the limits of what she can safely keep in existence at any given time. This cost skyrockets for those Olympians that were true legendary spirits even before entering the Games, such as Heracles, Pelops or Nero. Such great heroes easily are worth the likes of ten lesser Olympians, demanding a suitable cost in magical energy. Just maintaining them for several minutes is likely to drain her nearly dry, while trying to manifest more then one at a time or alongside her regular ones is liable to kill her nigh-instantly from the magical strain.
Though Striker is able to call on dozens of Olympians to aid her, there are a select few that she favors most of all to send into battle. These are as follows.
Leonidas of Rhodes
Melankomas of Caria
Kyniska of Sparta
Polydamas of Thessaly
There are also the legendary Olympians whom Striker may call upon.
Heracles
Nero
Pelops

I agree. I'm currently working on one based around mass immobilization through, intense phantom pain.
It's an Assassin's NP, and basically allows her to tear out the throats of multiple victims at her leisure while they're all writhing on the ground.
Unfortunately for its user, it has an obvious weakness in that people with unusually high pain tolerance, like many(all?) Heroic Spirits, or even Sakura.
Yes, it's a lousy NP, but it's for an Assassin class Servant. I can't really give her anything that would be a huge power boost. Especially since she's proven herself to be unusually capable in combat situations already.

The Spirit of the Olympics is pretty silly (in a good way), but so have some of mine. The sheet is good and all but there are two things I'd change personally. I'd make phelps one of the Olympians summonable as he's the most decorated of them all now - in well aware he's still alive but that's hardly a problem given the sheets nature. I'd also give Nero her Reality Marble but in the form a Roman chariot rink. The prowess of an athlete is good to make her usable and works well given her nature.
Also personally I would recommend having your master post as a blog instead.

Regarding Phelps, she's specifically intended to be the spirit of the ancient Greek Olympics in particular. Including modern Olympians would overcomplicate things, I feel. Not to say Phelps couldn't be a Heroic Spirit on his own though, in fact it was a toss-up whether to do him (with the medals he won as NPs ala Proto!Herc's God Hand) or the Spirit of the Olympics.
Servant Assassin Herostratus
(Picture Link: https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/hero...n-63275943.jpg)
Profile (From Wiki)
He is a 4th-century BC Greek arsonist, who sought notoriety by destroying one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. His acts then prompted the creation of a law forbidding anyone to mention his name. Nevertheless, his name has become a metonym for someone who commits a criminal act in order to become noted.
This servant's true identity is not the actual person but the concept "herostratus:, representing fame sought by criminal or otherwise disreputable mean.
Unlike most servants, He possess his master, becoming a psuedo servant. When the first body is killed, this servant possess the nearest criminal he can find.
this servant initially is completely useless in battle compared to other servants, including from his own class. He has no combat skills and can be killed by masters if opportunity arises. He prefers to burn down buildings or anything he can grab his hands on.
In the war he is summoned in, he is Shirou's tormentor by setting fire on everything to gauge a reaction from the third rate magus. This servant realize he can gain more fame by playing "supervillain" to Shirou's "superhero".
Every time assassin is killed, he comes back and continue to taunts Shirou . This results in an endless loop until the magus is dead.
"I just want to see the world burn."
"I can make us famous!"

Personal Skill
Fire powers EX
This servant shoot fire from his hands. This skill is not something he attain from his previous life. This servant have no interest to control his powers and prefers going wild to create more destruction as he possibly can.
The Rank Ex allows him to destroy caster's workshop and important buildings such as Temple of Artemis.
Herostratus EX
This personal skill is named after his actual name. This servant becomes more crafty with arson as more people become aware of his name and notoriety, resulting in bigger and more bombastic crimes next.
Noble Phantasm
Damnatio memoriae EX
Note that the name of his NP is ironic. It's passive and doesn't require calling out its name to activate it.
This Noble Phantasm can only be activated after this servant reveals his name willingly to a master/servant. As long as the targeted individual is alive, this servant cannot be killed and will not be returning to the container after death.
Instead, this servant possess the nearest criminal he can find like a parasite until the body can't hold him. Another reason is due to the use of his powers resulting in his host's body suffering burn damage in the process.

I get that this is sort of intended to be a joke (that FC and the references to taunting Shirou) but still, all those EXs are pretty overboard. Herostratus can justifiably be EX maybe, but Fire Powers should be more like A+ at most. Also renamed something like Arsonist or Magecraft (Flames), since the current name is rather cheesy and informal.
Damnatio Memoriae is an interesting idea but... is there any particular reason one's name being forgotten equals being able to jump into other bodies? There doesn't seem to be much of an attempt to ground the effect in lore, here. Also, wow, he literally can't die so long as somebody knows his name? That's... pretty powerful. Not quite sure how Shirou'd go about defeating that... (Maybe finding a helpful Magus with memory-erasing specialty...?)
While it seems like a bit of parody, the idea of someone trying to play the 'villain' to Shirou's 'superhero' is actually really fascinating and goes quite well with Nasu's themes on heroism. ("A hero of justice requires an evil to defeat," and all that)

Thanks for the reply.
OK I'll admit his fire powers ranking is high but here's the reason why: EX rank means it can't be measured and he did burn down the temple of Artemis a holy place for greeks at the time. Not sure how to measure this so I put EX.
The name is silly because I got no idea what to name it XD
As for his NP, he can remain alive as long as ONLY Shirou remembers his name. He is anchored on this world by Shirou's memory. It only works on one person (should have mentioned anti-unit) and he gets boost when other people remember his name. If Shirou dies he dies too. I got this idea from the Joker: his true fear is to be forgotten in the arkham game.
the name is supposed to be ironic.
To me, it's a fair trade his NP is unique not so much about being powerful. He has zero combat skills and can be killed by masters if requirements are met but he has a NP so bizarre it defies logic.
Besides, I did mention it's not the arsonist himself summoned but "herostratus" the metotynm for someone committing crimes for fame. like The Joker, he's a force of nature villain. He represents a part of us craving for fame by doing something stupid.
I choose fire because Shirou's past involves fire. VN mentioned briefly he was scared of fire as a kid. Imagine a relapse when his tormentor keep burning stuff to get his attention on almost a daily basis.
If he appears in story, he loses interest to win the war and fight other servants after telling Shirou his name. His only goal for the rest of the conflict is to torment the guy with random arson crimes so they can play superhero and supervillain to become famous.
Last edited by shikyo21; August 15th, 2016 at 04:40 PM.
Why Shirou of all people? What fame and notoriety is there to gain as the archenemy of a nobody as far as mundane or magical society is concerned? Surely a Grail War will be chock full of famous people more suitable to be a Batman to your Joker.

"We don't need martyrs right now. We need heroes. A hero would die for his country, but he'd much rather live for it." -Josiah Bartlet
List of Servants I've made
Because he is the protagonist and a superhero in the making? Even famous people have to start somewhere, a nobody VS a name most people have forgotten in an endless loop of "I cause trouble, he shows up, we have some laughs and the game starts all over again."
I find it intriguing if each encounter gets worse and worse as time goes on.
In story, the writer have to make both of them meet under the right circumstances so this toxic relationship can begin.
I disagree, Herostratus's crime is the reason why there is a law someone's name must not be remembered. How can you top that?

The more you describe this, the more I think it's a really interesting idea. Knowing Shirou though, the moment he finds out the nature of Herostratus' NP he'd be willing to kill himself to put an end to it. Though if somebody like Rin or Saber were around they could snap him out of such a self-sacrificing 'solution'. Are you planning to write a fic for this, by any chance?

Hermes: Little Mermaid is an interesting idea for a Servant. Her first NP sounds almost useless and her second one, highly limited, but it certainly fits her legend. Normally I might balk on the 'straight A physical stats underwater' bit for Aquatic Body but considering how weak she is normally, I can easily let it slide.
How about this? someone is bound to notice Shirou never dies after confronting Herostratus afterwards. Heck, the servant makes sure the magus stays alive throughout the war, even becoming an unlikely ally like Lancer did in UBW.
His role during the team up is to destroy enemy HQ. His fire powers is enough to torch down caster's workshops and important buildings with long history. Should have make it Anti-fortress, especially when the building is a temple or a holy ground.

General of Gunpowder
Class: Archer
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Attribute: Man
Parameters:
Strength: D
Endurance: C
Agility: B
Magic: C
Luck: A+
Noble Phantasm: C -- A
Skills:
Class Skills:
- Independent Action C
It is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for one day without a Master.- Magic Resistance D
Can only protect against single-action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.
Personal Skills:
- Espionage C
Enemies fail to register Archer's presence as hostile unless Archer reveals incriminating information about himself. The effect will fail if either party prepares to attack.- Proof of Friendship D
If the target does not have Mental Pollution, their will to fight will be curbed when conversing with Archer. This effect can be enhanced with subtle bribery. Due to Archer already having the Espionage skill, the use of this skill is relegated to restoring broken trust and calming sudden assailants.- Bow and Arrow Creation (Artillery) C
As the designer of numerous gunpowder-based weapons, Archer can create said weapons if given access to the right materials. Ammunition can be created using magical energy alone; however, Archer can modify and enhance them using the gunpowder that is brought along with him when summoned.- Military Tactics C
Tactical knowledge used not for one-on-one combat situations, but for battles where many are mobilized. Bonus modifiers are provided during use of one's own Anti-Army Noble Phantasm, or when dealing with an enemy's Anti-Army Noble Phantasm.
Equipment:
- Hwando
- Scale Armor
- Hwacha (rocket arrow launcher cart) with 200 arrow capacity. Starts with one copy; he can create more with Bow and Arrow Creation (Artillery)
- Large supplies of sulfur, fine coal, and potassium nitrate; Archer can use these to create gunpowder.
Noble Phantasm:
Spoiler:
Lore:
Spoiler:
Personality:
Always inquisitive and filled with wonder, Archer comes across as happy and charming, but somewhat childish. He is easily distracted by things he considers as "cool" and will not rest until he understands how they work (preferably being able to duplicate it himself). Those who do not know his legend may mistake him for a happy-go-lucky idiot.
Archer's hidden talent is that he knows how to manipulate people into telling him what he wants. His innocent persona makes it easy for people to trust him, even when they really shouldn't (hence his Espionage skill). He intentionally makes it appear like he is a friend to everybody, while being able to hide his agenda. His usual approach in the early stages of a Grail War would be to ingratiate himself with the other contestants, performing favors and winning trust, and perhaps even forging alliances.
His wish for the Holy Grail War would be for the unification of Korea. However, in the event that reconciliation is impossible, he will always side with South Korea and if given the chance, will aid in a military takeover.
Miscellaneous:
Likes: cool and flashy things.
Dislikes: pirates, people who prey on the weak in general
Talents: gaining trust, analyzing and reproducing technology, being a bro.
Natural Enemy: Oda Nobunaga
Catalyst: a Hwacha
Notes: he will be an instant fan of of any other Korean Heroic Spirits summoned, even if they lived after his time.
Servant Caster:
True Name: Elvis Presley 'King of Rock & Roll'
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Strength- E
Agility- B
Endurance- E
Mana- B
Luck- C-
NP- B
Appearance:
(Hail to the king, baby)
Personality: Beyond his glitzy and swashbuckling persona lies a deeply caring and generous young man. Caster is a great soul who, despite his great fame, never lost sight of his common upbringing or the people who had made his success possible. Though playing the part of a flirt, he would never actually do anything untoward to a woman if given the chance. In the Grail War, Caster plays up his rockstar persona, treating the War itself as a grand 'stage' for him to perform upon.
Caster is aware of his persona as a natural born rock idol and the pressure to live up to that image even when it conflicted with his own nature ultimately destroyed him. In the end though, Caster does not regret how his life went. He became an icon that revolutionized music and gave joy to countless people, so wishing to undo all that simply because it led to a tragic end would be only selfish. More than anything, Caster is someone satisfied with his life, regardless of its ending. That said, Caster is thoroughly tired of fame and fortune. His wish on the Grail is simply to be able to retire somewhere and have the normal, tranquil life that was denied to him as an idol.
Caster is greatly fond of rich foods and especially bacon. He shows a nearly bottomless appetite and is the sort of person who might sit down for a small breakfast only to end up gobbling an entire banquet. Though its become part of his legend, Caster greatly dislikes being referred to as a 'King', saying "There's only one king, baby, and it's God". Also, for some reason, he has a strong, inexplicable hatred for television sets and will go out of his way to destroy any of them that he encounters.
Likes: pretty girls, rich and heavy food
Dislikes: being called 'King', television sets
Talents: Rock & Roll, sex appeal
Natural Enemy: "Colonel" Tom Parker
Class Skills:
Territory Creation (A-)- Allows for formulation of a 'Graceland Mansion' inferior to a Temple. This Mansion possesses no special abilities other then being incredibly huge, gaudy and luxurious. Really, keeping such a thing concealed during the Grail War is more of a hindrance then anything.
Item Construction (C+)- Caster can craft 'records' which his lyrical spells can be infused into. Playing these records instantly deploys the relevant spell just the same as if Caster had performed it himself.
Personal Skills:
Seductive Presence (B+)- Talent to seduce and mesmerize others. Higher the rank, the more one's status as a 'sex symbol' increases. Caster can seduce others effortlessly through his voice, body and gestures (dancing). At this point it is no longer just attraction but a kind of natural spell, placing those affected under an aphrodisiac trance. Using this Skill, Caster could easily create an army of love-crazed minions willing to obey everything he says and even die for him. Great willpower, a Mana ranking of C or higher or Skills granting immunity to mental interference are needed to resist Caster's charms. However, this Skill is only truly effective against women, with those of the same gender merely experiencing a mild fascination.
Innocent Monster (C)- Nature of one whose legend has been distorted falsely by history. In this case, urban legends associating Caster with the devil and Occultism have led him to possessing supernatural prowess that he never had in life.
Charisma (E)- Ability to inspire others and command armies. Charisma is a rare talent, but in certain cases, there are factor that can affect the personality development of the owner. In the case of Elvis Presley, this resulted in a "Natural Idol" against whom no one could object.
Noble Phantasm:
Eternal Elvis- The King Never Dies (B, Support): An irregular Noble Phantasm crystallizing the legends surrounding Caster's death. While normally a star of the modern day such as Elvis would not have enough mystery for a Noble Phantasm, this case is an exception due to the unique mysteries surrounding his own demise. Countless tabloids and conspiracy theorists report that Elvis never truly died, but faked his passing in order to escape the life of a celebrity and still lives on in the modern world, free from the prying public eye. While wholly meritless, the beliefs and wishes invested into the King of Rock & Roll grant him this Noble Phantasm.
When Caster 'dies', his body is conceptually overwritten with a double- a hollow 'shell' made from condensed Mana, while his real self is teleported elsewhere within a ten mile radius. This 'reborn' Caster is free from whatever injury originally killed him. Afterwards, Caster is also endowed with Presence Concealment at rank E, to hide from the public eye and evade detection. To outside observers, it will appear as if Caster had really died and disappeared from the Holy Grail War.
Using this Noble Phantasm, Caster can fake his own death, use his newfound stealth for information gathering and plan surprise attacks on his unaware opponents. However it can only be used once. Should Caster be killed a second time, this Noble Phantasm will not take effect and Caster will truly pass from the world.
Even the King of Rock & Roll ain't immortal, after all.

Another rather silly idea for a Caster. Josuke FC isn't quite what I had in mind but it was closest thing with the pompadour and flashy clothing. Couldn't find any good art of him in a 'sexier' pose, like with a ripped shirt or something. As usual, I'd appreciate comments and criticisms. Thanks!
