    Attribute: Heaven

    Strength: A
    Endurance: A+
    Agility: B
    Mana: A+
    Luck: C

    Class Skills
Existence Outside of the Domain: EX

    Divinity: A
The Outer God that the Man in the Iron Mask made contact with is one of the most powerful and dangerous ever encountered.

    Personal Skill
    Imperial Privilege: B-
Due to rumors that the Man in the Iron Mask was the identical twin of King Louis XIV, he has gained a version of this skill, allowing them to use skills such as riding, charisma, military tactics and others. However, as these rumors are unconfirmed and unlikely, it has been reduced from what it would be if this person were an actual member of royalty.

    Mental Pollution: C
Due to the uncertainty behind Foreigner's true identity save the name of Eustache Dauger, Foreigner suffers from a severe mental illness, born from their own inability to determine their identity. They have a resistance to mental interference but establishing a connection with others is difficult.

Mana Burst(Suns of the King): A-
Having seen the realm of the King Who Rules Over Emperors, Foreigner glimpsed those twin suns which shine upon the King's city. Foreigner wrote of them in his play which caused his arrest.

Foreigner is able to fire off blasts of intense fire derived from the suns or embed objects with that same fire. However, he must be touching those objects and he can only fire off the blasts from his hands.

    Information Erasure: EX
A skill crafted from the concealment of the Man in the Iron Mask, not his own prowess. Virtually nothing is known about this enigmatic figure. All historians, even mages, can do is speculate on him. As Foreigner's name and the reason for their arrest is unknown, so can he remain unknown.

Foreigner is able to remove any and all information about himself, his abilities and skills from the memories of any and all eye witnesses.

    Noble Phantasm
    Legend of the Mysterious Man
    Anti-Unit (Self)
    D+

Foreigner is an utterly unknown figure, who can only be speculated upon. As such, this allows Foreigner to remove pieces of himself from reality. By doing so, they seem to practically vanish, becoming not invisible but completely nonexistent in this plane of reality. However, they are actually being transported into a Reality Marble. Foreigner is unable to access this Reality Marble directly, however, as it is created from the King Who Rules Emperors. Foreigner can then transport them back into this realm in a form of teleportation, still manipulating them even though they are disconnected. This grants them a versatile attack range and abilities for engaging the enemy.

    Affair of the Poisons: C+
    Anti-Humanity

Foreigner was involved in a series of black masses, through which he contacted the Outer God known as The King Who Rules Over Emperors. These events became tied to the numerous murders of several individuals, prominent in French society, eventually leading to the execution of over 36 people.

Foreigner begins to sow the seeds of doubt and distrust in the minds of his enemies, turning them against each and disrupting the relationship between Master and Servant. This will only occur to those who hear Foreigner speak. Another effect is the creation of a poisonous invisible cloud which expands at Foreigners whim.

    The Enigma Mask: A+
    Anti-Unit (Self)

Foreigner's black velvet mask which has been transformed into one of pure iron. This mask has been directly fused with Foreigner's face and cannot be removed. It is the mask which guarded his identity and ensured none would know his true name. However, there is much more to this mask than simply that. For this mask was forged by The King Who Rules Over Emperors and contains a piece of his essence. It was only through extensive work by French mages that the full effects were contained.

When used, this mask acts as a kind of conduit through which beings from beyond can travel through, allowing for Foreigner to summon familiars in the form of tentacled beasts and unspeakable horrors to do battle for them, as well as giving Foreigner the ability to decipher the true names of other Servants. The most powerful ability of the mask, however, is that Foreigner may use it to transform into another Servant whose true name he has learned, gaining all their skills and Nobel Phantasms at a rank equal to theirs, while sealing his other Noble Phantasms.

History: The man who became the mysterious Man in the Iron Mask was once a talented magus who became fascinated by the idea of forces beyond this realm. In his studies, he delved deeper and deeper until he finally was able to figure out how to peel back the veil of reality and gaze into such a realm.

However, Foreigner was actually manipulated by one of the very beings he was researching, the King Who Rules Over Emperors. This creature intended to use him as a means to enter the realm of humanity, and claim it for themselves. However, the man was only able to take a single glimpse of the realm before other magus managed to unravel his spell and prevent the King from coming. But a single glimpse was all the man needed. The man wrote a play based on what he had seen, and in this play crept the essence of the King Who Rules Over Emperors. The man was imprisoned and all traces of his true identity scrubbed from existence, save the play and a single name he was given; Eustache Dauger.

However, all efforts to destroy the play has failed, and at some point, Eustache somehow came into possession of a mask of black velvet. A gift from his king.

    Personality: Quiet and reserved.

King Who Rules Over Emperors is Hastur, AKA the King in Yellow from the fictional play of the same name right?

Otherwise, pretty cool interpretation of an obscure historic figure, though the personality section could probably stand to be a bit more fleshed out.

    Alignment: Chaotic Good
    Origin: Arthurian Legends
    Armament: Excalibur

    Parameters:
    STR: C
    END: A
    AGI: D
    MANA: A+
    LUCK: A+
    NP: A

    Skills
    Class Skills:

Magic Resistance - Rank A+: Grants protection against magical effects. Differing from the Resistance effect that merely rejects Magical Energy, this ability cancels the spells altogether.
Cancel spells of A-Rank or below, no matter what High-Thaumaturgy it is. Even magic from the Age of the Gods can be resisted. Further, due to personal experience, Ruler receives a strong resistance against illusions.

True Name Discernment - Rank C+: A Class Skill of the Ruler class where status information such as one's identity, Skills and Parameters are automatically revealed to the owner of this Skill when directly encountering a Servant.
During a direct encounter, a Servant's true name and entire status information will be automatically revealed. In regards to Servants with concealment abilities, a Luck Check is required to bypass those abilities. However, when dealing with certain Servants that Ruler knew in life, no Luck Check is needed.

God’s Resolution - Rank C: A Class Skill of the Ruler class and is the privilege of the Ruler presiding over the Holy Grail War; the right to use Command Spells against Servants, only given to Rulers. Each Ruler is normally granted two Command Spells for each Servant that participates in the Holy Grail War.
Two Command Spells can be used for each Servant participating in the Holy Grail War. Cannot re-purpose the Command Spells of others.

    Personal Skills:

Child of Nature - Rank A: A Skill that represents one as a children born in the Reverse Side of the World that will eventually become the same. Even if they are not naturally occurring life, but living things created by human hands, sometimes even they can receive great blessings from the World.
Ruler can utilize the Mana of her surroundings freely, granting her the ability to sustain herself without an external source of Magical Energy, such as a Master.

Item Construction (Fairy) - Rank EX: A variation of the Item Construction Skill, denoting one’s expertise in creating objects that are beyond the crafting skills of human hands. In the context of a Holy Grail War, it is a peerless Skill, even capable of creating Noble Phantasms. However, a great amount of resources have to be expended to ensure success.
Famous for granting many Noble Phantasms to others, Ruler can create items of that level. She does require resources and helping hands, however. In her life, she had fairies to assist her, but naturally these are not summoned alongside her in her Ruler incarnation.

Lady of the Lake - Rank A+: A unique Skill belonging to Ruler alone. It grants the ability to establish oneself as the ‘Lady of the Lake’, similar to creating a Territory. However, rather than the Skill being tied to the Territory created, Ruler’s ability is tied to her own body.
As the ‘Lady of the Lake’, Ruler gains a significant boost to her Luck parameter when within sight of a water source, in addition to gaining the normal benefits of a created Territory. Transportation from one water source to another also becomes possible.

    Noble Phantasms

    The Promised Sword of Victory
    Excalibur

    Anti-Unit, Rank A+
The greatest Holy Sword itself, granted to Ruler for safekeeping. As the sword’s custodian, it is within her purview to grant it to others. Ruler can also wield the sword herself, but has not the skill or interest in doing such a thing.
Upon encountering someone she sees as worthy of carrying the sword, Ruler can allow them to borrow Excalibur. For as long as they remain worthy of holding it, they will be regarded as Excalibur’s ‘owner’ and can invoke the Noble Phantasm as any owner could. However, it must be noted that Ruler is perfectly capable of rescinding this right of ownership, causing Excalibur to reject its wielder. For as long as the sword is not returned to Ruler, misfortune is sure to follow them wherever they go. Eventually, the target will even begin to suffer damage.

    The Tabooed Paradise
    Avalon

    Anti-Unit, Rank EX
Ruler’s right to enter and leave the realm of Avalon as she wishes, a right that she can also grant to others. When using Avalon, Ruler passes onto the Reverse Side of the World through a mode of transportation of her choice. Though humans cannot survive there unaided, a Servant is a different matter. The abundant Magical Energy will essentially supercharge Servants capable of utilizing the Magical Energy of their surroundings. This state will continue for some time after exiting Avalon.
As Ruler controls who controls the ingress and egress of Avalon, she is fully capable of taking someone there and then simply forbidding them from leaving. The target will then become trapped in that realm, like a certain half-Incubus.

    Description
Likes: Those of high status, withholding things
    Dislikes: Perverts, injustice
    Talents: Safekeeping, crypticity
Natural Enemy: Merlin, Morgan le Fay

Ruler’s true identity is Vivian, the Lady of the Lake.

Ordinarily, an entity such as Vivian, who never died before retreating to the eternal paradise of Avalon, could not be summoned as a Servant. However, there was a time when she faded away into a state where she could've been considered dead. In addition, there are several versions of her story where she meets her end. Thanks to exploiting these portions of her legend, she has managed to attain an existence in the Throne of Heroes.
Vivian is a being that prizes status, befitting a Queen of the Fairies. Her belief in the importance of one’s position in life is further bolstered by the fact that she and she alone was made the holy sword Excalibur’s guardian. She gauges others according to the value of their position, or the status that they seek to ascend to. Despite Vivian’s probable contempt towards those beneath her, she holds to a regal, aloof bearing when interacting with others.
Besides status, Vivian is fascinated with power. Those who hold great power will naturally rise to a station befitting their abilities, after all. It is this fascination that drove her to accept King Arthur’s request for Excalibur, and the fairy even gave the king Avalon into the bargain, seeing her as a bearer worthy of both items. Due to similar reasons, she later approached Merlin, wishing to have him demonstrate his magic to her.
Vivian derives great pleasure from holding things that others do not have access to, whether these be legendary items or pieces of information. Keeping others guessing and denying them something that she holds is a favourite pastime of hers. Conversely, it angers her greatly when she is denied. Should she encounter someone worthy of something, however, Vivian will gladly part with things she would jealously guard from others.
When angered, Vivian has quite a temper and is prone to wildly disproportionate punishment. An example of this would be the repeated attentions of Merlin, for which she imprisoned him inside Avalon for the rest of eternity. Being a Fairy, her view on right and wrong is rather strange by human standards, and it can be difficult to predict what will or won’t set her off.
To the exclusion of all others, Vivian is fond of the Knights of the Round Table and their associates (barring Merlin). This is to be expected, seeing as they are a group led by her chosen champion, who is assisted by one Vivian judged worthy of bearing Excalibur’s sister sword. Vivian also hates the enemies of Arthur’s Britain with a passion.
As a Ruler, Vivian has no true wish to the Holy Grail. Her original motivation for trying to become a Heroic Spirit was to gain the opportunity to regain Avalon, which was lost before King Arthur’s final battle. In her Caster incarnation, when she is bound to be more selfish, this would be her wish.

    Lore
Vivian is an ancient Queen of the Fairies, taking the identity of the Lady of the Lake to interact with mortals after the start of the Age of Man. In times long past, she was judged as a worthy custodian for the greatest holy sword, Excalibur.
During the era of King Arthur, she was approached by Merlin, who beseeched her aid in fostering a righteous king for Britain. Humouring him, Vivian agreed to meet with Artoria Pendragon. Stunned by her inborn power as well as her potential, Vivian bestowed ownership of Excalibur to the one who would one day become the King of Knights, throwing an item of her own handiwork, Avalon, into the bargain as well.
During Artoria’s reign, Vivian was content merely to observe the actions of her chosen champion. On a few occasions, she worked covertly to undo and uncover the schemes of her counterpart, Morgan le Fay, Artoria’s sister and enemy. Eventually, Vivian’s curiosity got the better of her, and she approached Merlin, a unique hybrid, fascinated by his power. This proved to be a mistake thanks to Merlin’s tendencies with beautiful women. One too many of Merlin’s tricks led to her imprisoning him in a tower inside the realm of Avalon.
After Artoria fell in the Battle of Camlann, Vivian was pleased to note that she held onto their agreement, returning Excalibur to its rightful guardian. Though Avalon was not returned, she did not hold this against her champion, knowing that it was due to the actions of Morgan. As the king expired, Vivian bid a fond, quiet farewell to one of the few humans she perceived as worthy.
After that, as well as the fading of the last vestiges of the Age of the Gods from Britain, Vivian faded into myth. Wanting to recover Avalon before moving to the Reverse Side of the World, she lingered until she faded away almost completely. Her fairy subjects rescued her before she could vanish completely, and she has lived in Avalon ever since. She still observes her champion’s Britain from time to time, as well as contemplating Merlin’s imprisonment with glee, waiting for the time when her Heroic Spirit counterpart achieves the recovery of Avalon.

    Notes
Not the most creative interpretation, I suppose. Anyways, I'm back.

Hard to exactly come up with something for the Man in the Iron Mask, and yes, the KWROE is Hastur.

“I dreamed for such a very long time. I slumbered blissfully unaware of the reality of my existence. I dreamed that I could be a knight, noble and true. I dreamed that no matter what, he would always be there for me, he would always save me. The nature of dreams is that when you dream them you believe them to be real, and that when you wake up from them, you come to realize they were never real. I continue to sleep. I continue to dream. But now... now I thoroughly understand my dreams were nothing but pleasant little lies. A rotten tree like me never deserved to be saved. I'll make this whole world realize that... and I'll make him realize that."

    Class Skills
    Self-Replenishment (Mana): B (A)
A Class Skill of the Avenger class; magical energy endlessly gushes forth until revenge is taken. This Skill recovers a minuscule amount of magical energy every turn. In spite of the grievous injuries inflicted to their body and heart in life, Avenger was able to recover in a matter of days in order to begin their revenge. Due to the influence of the princess within them, the Skill receives a Rank-Up and the quantity of the magical energy recovered is boosted when Avenger slumbers.

    Oblivion Correction: B
A Class Skill of the Avenger class; people are creatures that forget many things, but an Avenger never forgets. The critical effect of Avengers who attack from beyond oblivion is strengthened. Avenger will never forget their faith in their brother and God, their hope that they would be saved. They will never forget their despair and agony as it was all betrayed, as they were abandoned, not even in their dreams.

    Avenger: C
A Class Skill of the Avenger class, representing the state of an Avenger as one that gathers people’s hatreds and grudges onto one’s self. It is easier for one to accumulate loathing and resentment. When receiving damage, mana generation is increased. Theirs is forever a story of vengeance and selfish despairing rage.

    Personal Skills
    Protection of the Fairies: A-
A Skill that denotes a blessing from Elementals. It grants the capacity to increase one's LCK in dangerous situations. Activation is limited to battlefields, where it is possible to perform feats of arms. From their late childhood onward, Avenger was raised by the Lady of the Lake Viviane, and her blessing yet remains on them no matter how far they've fallen from the path of righteousness. Furthermore, the princess within Avenger was granted blessings of beauty, wit, grace, dance, song, and goodness by eleven fairies, and further blessed by the twelfth to try to protect them from a curse. However, that very same curse was inflicted on them by a fairy as well, and thus the stability of the Skill is negatively affected to a certain extent.

    Sleeping Beauty: B (A)
A Skill granted by Avenger’s syncretization with the princess within them. In exchange for being afflicted with a physiological need for sleep, Avenger is able to exhibit an effect similar to Princess of Loveliness. Individuals around them will naturally begin to regard them fondly as a lovely and affable princess. It functions as a kind of passive charm, capable of winning over hearts and engendering warmth, but negated by mental resistance. This Skill receives a Rank-Up when Avenger is asleep, sufficient to pull forth a prince to try to save them. Numerous men were driven to save the princess within them, and this Skill additionally has synergy with the charm, grace, and etiquette necessarily developed by Avenger in life.

    Unbridled Heart: B
A Skill that denotes unmitigated fierceness of heart; it is functionally similar to Unyielding Will. Resistance is developed against both physical and mental damage; pain becomes as nothing. In life, Avenger was given the nickname of Unbridled Heart. It is said that even when bleeding from a hundred places, Avenger did not so much as flinch. Their greatness of heart was such it seemed as if they were in no anguish at all. However, that very same strength of heart leaves them vulnerable when it comes to those their heart cherishes. Abandonment or betrayal by one they have faith in or love will afflict them with despair.

    Noble Phantasms
    The Rotten Tree Still Dreams
    Briar Rose, Castle of Thorns

    Rank: B+
    Type: Fortress
    Range: 1+
    Maximum Targets: 1+
In life, it could be said that Avenger's hatred was born from thorns. Twice was he imprisoned, abandoned to agony unimaginable by those he had faith in. On both occasions was he stripped naked and beaten with thorns and brambles, the second occasion far more acutely than the first. Bound to a horse, stripped of protection, his body was pierced by thorns time and time again. It reached the point that he was bleeding from over one hundred places across his body. In such a state was he found by his beloved brother Bors, and in such a state did his beloved brother abandon him to save someone else. He had nursed resentment and hatred his entire life, but that was the breaking point. In the end, he was condemned to be nothing more than a test of morality for his brother. A vision was sent from God to Bors, one that proclaimed that Avenger was naught but a rotten tree thick with brambles, that his punishment was only appropriate for what he was and it had been the right choice not to save him. The thorns had always been his fate.

It was only natural then that he should be syncretized with the Phantom Briar Rose. After all, they too defined her life, were present in her very name. A great wall of thorns and brambles protected and isolated her and the castle she slept in from reality. Many princes sought to save her, but each and every one was impaled upon the briars. Only one king's son, at the end of a hundred years, was able to be her savior. For the Avenger who had dreamed more than anything of being saved, but who was condemned to never be saved, there could be nothing more appropriate or more ironic.

Avenger's sole Noble Phantasm is the crystallization and composite of their own horrific experiences in life and the anecdotes concerning the Sleeping Beauty, their hatred made manifest in the very thorns that pierced their flesh and deemed them unable to be saved.

Their Noble Phantasm functionally has two modes of usage, or more precisely, a partial release and full release. Even without invoking its name, Avenger is capable of summoning enchanted thorns, briars, and brambles, turning the weapons used against them in life against their enemies. They are not capable of simply summoning them anywhere within a certain radius or within their view; Avenger has to extend the thorns forward from their own flesh and from the blade of their sword Florent. While they certainly lack the means to break through defensive Noble Phantasms or even the armor of many Servants, they are more than capable of severely injuring those in their path or serving as a defensive barrier for Avenger. Being extensions of Avenger's own agonizing hatred, their true value is in their being almost unbearably painful when piercing, despite often doing relatively little physical damage. Those without strong willpower will definitely have their focus and concentration disrupted.

However, this limited release of their Noble Phantasm is not without its drawbacks. The branches of thorns are limited to a range of a few meters around Avenger; they cannot be extended indefinitely by any means. Furthermore, in feeding on Avenger's own blood and mana, the thorns can easily wound them just as much as they wound their enemies if Avenger is not careful. Indeed, if Avenger gets too caught up in their hatred or overextends themselves, the thorns might consume their very master. Finally, it should go without saying that the rotten thorns and briars are deeply vulnerable by their very nature to fire and ice. Enchanted fire or ice can render this Noble Phantasm effectively useless.

Two conditions must be achieved for the full release of Avenger's Noble Phantasm. Firstly, they must be in a state of slumber, fully unconscious and incapable of movement. Secondly, they must be inside of a building of sufficient size to serve as their castle, though there needn't be anything special about it otherwise. Once these two conditions are met, Avenger is capable of initiating their Noble Phantasm's activation from within their dreams. Upon this activation, a rotten tree thick with brambles and thorns grows out from their body and begins extending its way throughout the entirety of the building. Anyone human within the building who lacks the proper protection will join Avenger in sleep as soon as they come into contact with the thorns. The thorns will within mere minutes cover almost the entirety of the building's interior and begin to grow outwards onto its exterior, forming a veritable wall of brambles.

It does not stop there, however. If Avenger so wills it, the forest of thorns will continue to expand outwards indefinitely if slowly, using the blood and mana of anything it pierces along the way to sustain itself. If left alone for an entire night, even an entire town can be consumed. Anything and anyone that tries to approach the barrier will be impaled if they are unable to cut or burn their way through the brambles; the branches of thorns respond actively to intruders and will move of their own volition to strike. Unlike the physical agony inflicted by the thorns of its limited release, when fully released this Noble Phantasm's thorns induce sleepiness in those they pierce. Despite lacking the physiological need for sleep, even Servants will be forcibly made to slumber if they are gouged one too many times by the thorns. Once asleep, it goes without saying they become easy prey for the forest of thorns all around them.

It is an all or nothing Noble Phantasm that creates a defensive fortress and forces enemies to attack it, whether to save lives or maintain the secrecy of a Holy Grail War. It is certainly not without its drawbacks, however. While the forest of thorns does slowly but surely grow outwards from its initial position as, the castle at its heart and Avenger within it are stationary. It is easy prey for an Anti-Fortress Noble Phantasm, and even an Anti-Army Noble Phantasm might be capable of at the very least severely weakening it. The innocent sleepers within the castle and its surroundings would be killed, but there are many who would be willing to pay such a price, and Avenger has no means of countering them. The thorns retain their weakness to fire and ice, to the point sufficient application of either or both can halt the forest's growth entirely. Finally, the ability of the thorns to induce a sleep status condition is severely lowered by mental resistance and defensive Skills and Noble Phantasms.

The knight princess slumbers within the castle of thorns, dreaming of the one true hero who will come to bring them salvation and complete their vengeance... by granting them sleep eternal.

    Background
Avenger's True Name is Sir Lyonell de Gannes, younger brother of the esteemed Grail knight Sir Bors de Gannes and cousin of Sir Lancelot.

Lyonell was born in the French kingdom of Gannes to King Bors and his wife Evaine, the younger brother of the kingdom's heir, Bors de Gannes. When he was only nine months old, his father's kingdom fell to the tyrannical King Claudas. His father was slain and his mother forced to entrust his sons to one of his father's former retainers, Sir Pharien. However, the whereabouts of the boys were betrayed to Claudas by Pharien's wife, and both were taken prisoner by Claudas. Lyonell would grow up in the court of the man who killed his father and separated him from a mother he'd never known, unable to rely upon anyone at all but his older brother Bors. Alone in the world save for Bors, Lyonell grew to deeply admire and love his brother, while at the same time developing a dependence on his brother by necessity.

Even as he smiled and used whatever means necessary to appease the mad king and his sycophants, hatred and resentment towards his situation and the very world continued to build up within Lyonell. Things finally came to a head when Lyonell was 12 and Claudas's son Dorin was knighted; the cruel prince insulted Bors, and Lyonell was no longer able to restrain himself. He killed Dorin at that night's dinner. A maiden of the Lady of the Lake sent to rescue them, Seraide, turned the boys into greyhounds and spirited them away from Claudas's wrath.

Freed from the prison that had been all he had ever known, Lyonell and his brother were brought to the Lady of the Lake, and raised in her underwater kingdom alongside their cousin Lancelot. Lyonell and Bors followed their cousin to England and joined the Knights of the Round Table, and in the ensuing years Lyonell had a number of adventures. Unfortunately, one such adventure involved his being imprisoned by the knight Turquine and beaten with thorns, abandoned and alone for a considerable amount of time before being saved.

And then, while his elder brother was on the Grail Quest, Lyonell was captured by evil knights once more. He was tortured more than ever, and as fate would have it, was brought in such a state before his brother. And yet, Lyonell was not to be saved by the brother he had absolute faith in. Across from them was a maiden about to be raped by a knight, and Lyonell's brother chose to save her instead.

Lyonell regardless somehow survived this ordeal and escaped, and at the same time, his brother received a vision from God. Lyonell was a rotten tree, full of evil and hatred, and to not save him had been the correct choice. This was but one of the many tests and trials God had given Bors during the Grail Quest.

Lyonell eventually found Bors, his elder brother's betrayal and abandonment of him having driven him into a homicidal rage. In a fit of madness, he tried to cut down his brother, mercilessly killing an old hermit who tried to intervene. Sir Calogrenant of the Round Table was passing by and he too attempted to stop Lyonell's hatred, and he too was ruthlessly murdered just as the old man was. Just before Lyonell could cut down his brother, a pillar of holy flame came down from the heavens, separating them but not killing Lyonell.

Bors readily forgave his younger brother's sins, and further record notes Lyonell continued to be a member of the Knights of the Round Table. When their cousin Lancelot betrayed King Arthur, Bors and Lyonell naturally joined him, and fought in the ensuing war. Afterwards, Lyonell was struck down by Mordred's son Melehan, and was avenged by his brother thereafter.

In the end, the most notable episode in an otherwise loyal knight's life was his trying to take vengeance upon on his own brother.

That alone, however, might have proven insufficient for his to be summoned as an Avenger. He grasped outwards, searching for the power necessary to allow him to complete his vengeance. He found it in syncretization with the Phantom Briar Rose, better known as Sleeping Beauty.

The story of a princess in enchanted slumber goes back centuries, perhaps originating from Brynhild of the Volsung saga and the trials undertaken by female martyrs in Christian records. This particular Phantom is derived from the one of the more famous versions of the story, Little Briar Rose, that was collected and modified by the Brothers Grimm from an earlier version written by Charles Perrault. The tale speaks of a princesss who at her christening is visited by twelve good fairies and one single other. Eleven of the fairies offered blessings upon the child, but the older fairy, feeling slighted and overlooked by her treatment, curses the child to die upon being pricked by a spindle. The twelfth fairy is able to mitigate the curse. Rather than death, the child would sleep a hundred years.

Though the princess's parents made every effort to keep her from ever touching a spindle, they failed. She fell into her fated enchanted sleep, and upon her falling asleep every living thing in the castle fell asleep as well. A massive barrier of enchanted thorns grew around the castle, preventing anyone from entering. Even so, many princes tried to get through the thorns and save the princess across the course of a century, though not a single one of them survived. At the end of the hundred years, one king's son succeeded in going through the thicket of thorns, and woke the princess with a kiss.

Briar Rose's origins as a French tale, the similarities in their natures, their shared experiences with thorns, and Lyonell's status as a prince being easily modified to princess all contributed to their successful syncretization.

Fundamentally, however, it could be said that Briar Rose responded to the wish buried deep within Lyonell's heart, thoroughly obscured by thorn after thorn of hatred.

    The wish to be saved.

    Dislikes: Dreaming
    Talent: Smiling through pain
    Natural Enemy: Bors de Gannes
One certainly wouldn't think that Lyonell is an Avenger upon first meeting them. They are always and seemingly without exception outwardly warm, cordial, courteous, and compassionate. Embodying the qualities of a knight and princess both, they carry themselves with a loving smile, grace, and dignity. An ideal knight, they are always at the service of anyone in need, seeming to embody fully the chivalric code. Their devotion as a knight seems without flaw; they are seemingly fully loyal to those they serve and those they serve alongside. Ever optimistic and ever charming, they easily win over the hearts of those around them. While not overly sociable, they are always happy to talk with someone, and their skill at conversation is self evident. Reasonably empathetic, they're at the very least always able to pick up on when they can adjust their behavior to better please someone or meet their expectations.

If there are any flaws with them at all, they could only be attributed to their adherence to the codes of a knight. They are very easily flustered by anything concerning sexual matters, have never had a drop of alcohol in their life, have some hesitance regarding sorcery and are seemingly physically incapable of lightening up too much. Indeed, they sometimes come across as far too selfless, never ever allowing themselves to be a burden to anyone else. They have no indulgences or leisure activities, seemingly dedicating no time at all to themselves and all of their time to those they can help. On the surface they're the perfect knight, perhaps too much so.

Of course, just because they do not come across as an Avenger doesn't mean they aren't one.

Behind that ever present smile of theirs, thorns of resentment and hatred constantly prick at their consciousness and gouge at their heart. They seethe with rage towards their surroundings, towards the world, towards God himself. Even as they help someone, they unfairly envy them for their happiness. Even as they serve someone, they nurse the thoughts of betraying them as they themselves were betrayed. They hate being shown consideration and kindness, because they don't feel they deserve it. They hate people like their brother, who forgive them but surely can't save them, but at the same time cannot help but love people like their brother on some level.

Lyonell is neither an evil person pretending to be good nor a good person pretending to be evil, but a chaotic mix of both. Their persona as a knight is genuine; it is that which they aspired to and dreamed of more than anything in life. At the same time however, it exists alongside the vengeance within them. They liken it to a role easy to play, a dream easy to dream again, a lie easier to tell themselves and those around them a second time. To express their hatred outwardly is difficult for them who lived so much of their life trying to be a knight. Even if they desire to be evil, even if they desire to be cruel, it is all too often difficult for them to show it.

Their good will towards others is in some sense real. The hatred they hold towards others is certainly real. But more than anything else in the world almost, they hate themselves. They live in agonizing torment every day because of the vengeance they impulsively, madly, and undeservedly sought upon the person they loved most in the world. They hate their brother. They love their brother. They want to kill their brother. They want to be killed by their brother. Beneath their persona as a knight lies an ever contradictory tangle of feelings, a volatile mix of genuine hatred and genuine love.

Lyonell is someone who wants to play the role of a villain not because they want to, but because they feel the need to. Unable to forgive themselves for the acts they committed in life, unable to accept that they could have ever been a good person having done so, they believe they are fundamentally evil. They had only deluded themselves into believing they had ever been a good person, could ever be a knight, and could ever be worthy of their brother. Even now they live that same delusion, delighting and lamenting at once their hypocrisy in acting good despite believing themselves evil. They accept the role of rotten tree that God ordained them with, and strive to have the rest of the world accept that. They wish to be a villain worthy of their brother's heroism. Their actions are ever to set a stage, to elevate themselves as a villain to be struck down by a hero. They hate evil that isn't them, and love heroism that isn't them, and for that reason seek to destroy the first and be destroyed by the second. In a Holy Grail War, they will mutilate their heart time and time again to prove their believed fundamental evil to both themselves and those around them. In a very real sense, what they seek most is punishment, to an almost masochistic degree.

Yet deep down, beneath that chaotic tangle of love and hate, beneath their desire to be prove themselves evil and be struck down, beneath the dream of a knight they continue to dream... deep down inside, they fundamentally want to be saved.
    Relationships
    Bors de Gannes
Their beloved brother. Their hated brother. The one who gave them everything. The one who took from them everything. The one who was always there for them. The one who ultimately abandoned them. There is no one in the world Lyonell loves and admires more than their brother. Even now they elevate their brother onto a pedestal and crush themselves beneath it, rationalizing to themselves that their brother is perfect and capable of no wrong. And yet, at the same time, they so desperately wanted to be saved by their brother and weren't. They feel they can and should only exist to be their brother's villain, and want to convince their brother that they don't deserve to be saved. The volatile and contradictory mix of feelings Lyonell holds towards their brother could be said to define them. Though, to put it simply, it's just because they loved and trusted their brother so much that hatred proportionate to that was born when they were abandoned. To put it another way, Lyonell is president and founder of both the Official Bors Fan Club and the Official Bors Hate Club. It's complicated. Yandere? Yandere. It's platonic though, don't get any funny ideas.

    King Arthur
Their king. A person that Bors admired and respected, and thus they by extension admired and respected to a certain extent. At the same time, there is unfair resentment towards Arthur for their being unable to save King Bors. Arthur allowing them to remain in the Knights after the death of Sir Calogrenant was something that deeply scarred them as well, in a way not dissimilar to their cousin. They readily turned against King Arthur to follow Lancelot and Bors, but it could be said that some small part of them wishes they could be a loyal knight to their lord.

    Lancelot
Their double cousin, akin to a brother. One of the very very few people in the world they called a friend besides Bors. Still, they bear a certain degree of resentment towards him for the incident with Turquine. Their similarities are not lost on Lyonell, but they refuse to believe Lancelot is an evil person as they surely are. He can atone for his sins, and Lyonell cannot. That is surely the case. At least, that's what Lyonell wants to believe.

    Salieri
An Avenger similar to them, caught between love and hatred and focused on one person. Of course, Salieri's hatred was never real and was fabricated by the masses, and Lyonell can't help but envy them for that much. One of the few people all sides of them can sort of get along with.

    Claire
The one person in the world Lyonell hates more than themselves. Lyonell will compete with her as a fellow princess, and by that they mean they will gleefully torture her until she dies.

    Bond CE
    Faithful Necklace
The knight princess wears a silver cross.
It is not because it is beautiful.
It is not because of faith.
It is simply because it matches with one their brother has.
So many times have they wanted to throw it off in hatred.
So many times have they wanted to remove it because they are not worthy of it.
So many times have they wanted to plunge it into their own heart.
Even so, they have done none of those things.
To this day the knight princess wears it.
To this day the knight princess clutches it.
It is a childish sentiment, really.
As long as they continue to wear it, they can believe that their brother is with them.

    Description
    Background:

A Mordred from an alternate universe in which king Arthur is a man. His past and legend are virtually the same as those of the Mordred from our world, with the difference of them being a man as well, although in terms of personality, one can notice more differences between the Knights of Treachery from each world.

    Personality:

A teenager in a rebellious phase, Mordred has a coarse way of speaking unfitting for a knight. He speaks loudly and doesn’t use formalities at all, nor expects others to use them with him. His foul language makes him swear at least once a sentence. Even so, he isn’t less of a knight than other members of the Round Table, and, as a matter of fact, he’s probably the most knight-like of them, second only to the very same King of Knights.

Without getting to know him, outside the battlefield, Mordred gives the impression of a “young delinquent with a soft heart”. Nothing farther from reality, despite his vulgar speech, he’s actually the same flawless knight he worked hard to be during his life. Mean in words, excellent in actions. A magnificent contrast that would make many women faint, the essence of tsundere. Sadly, Mordred has a lot of trouble trusting others, even his Master, and his knightly side can’t easily be seen while interacting with him. This distrust comes from not only him having been raised by an evil witch, but also from his disappointment after having his ideal depiction of Arthur shattered.

Once he puts a foot on the battlefield, Mordred fights in a wild and brutal style, resorting to using his own body in any possible way instead of trusting only in his sword. Even so, this fighting style can somehow be identified as elegant and knightly. His toughness is to be feared, refusing to fall even when suffering the worst of wounds. It is almost as an animal that bares its fangs even when fighting a losing battle.

Mordred’s feelings about his father are twisted, at a point in which not even he can discern if they’re of love or of hatred. He wishes to continue being at his side, to never have rebelled against him, but he has seen the flaws he couldn’t see before, and greatly despises them. To add insult to injury, the desire of his mother Morgan made it so that he is destined to kill the king independently of his actions and thoughts. Her voice torments him even now, discouraging his efforts to become a knight. Obviously, there’s no way Mordred will tell his Master about it. Even if he’s seen suffering, he will deny it and get angry.

    Skills
    Class skills
    Magic Resistance A
At this rank, one could be considered a Magus killer. Modern mages are practically unable to touch Mordred, and even spells on the scale of Greater Rituals have little effect on him. Being a clone of king Arthur, who has the Dragon trait, Mordred has inherited his innately high resistance to magecraft.

    Riding B

Only Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts can’t be ridden. Still, Mordred’s driving is terrible, so take some safety measures before getting in a vehicle with him.

    Personal skills
    Mana Burst A
Increases performance by infusing weapons or the body with magical energy and abruptly expelling it, like a jet burst. Dragons possess the ability to generate magical energy just by breathing, what makes them living mana reactors. King Arthur, possessing dragon blood, isn’t able to create mana with his breathing, but his Magic Core, which surpasses the generation capacities of normal humans, allows him to create immense amounts of magical energy. Mordred, being his clone, has obtained the same ability as him. In his case, the expelled energy, takes the form of crimson lightning crackling around his body.

    Instinct B

Allows to determine instantly which is the best personal course of action in combat, even when there is interference with the senses. Mordred’s Instinct is one step short of entering the realm of future prediction. The penalties of interference with sight or hearing can be halved.

    Charisma C-
A composite skill consisting on natural charm and talent to command and unify a group of people. The abilities of allies increase in battle. It is a rare talent and a class skill of Saver Servants. Mordred would like this skill’s rank to be higher, but his nature as a rebel won’t let him. His true worth appears during a rebellion.

    Whispers of Morgan B

Mordred was someone whose sole purpose in life was to defeat the King of Knights, a puppet selfishly created by the witch Morgan to fulfill her desire. To ensure that he didn’t stray off from his path, the sorceress engraved words of encouragement in her son’s very heart.

    “Kill Arthur.”
    “Become the king of Britain.”

These wicked whispers still persist inside Mordred’s head up to this day, almost as a curse that focuses him on his original goal, as a machine that follows its primary command. An equivalent to low-rank Mental Pollution is conferred, granting resistance against mental interference, for as long as Mordred holds his wish. Additionally, the effects of Battle Continuation are provided, so that his body doesn’t fall until he has usurped the British throne. This last effect doesn’t consider Mordred’s feelings at all. His body will still move to kill the king even if he doesn’t want to, following Morgan’s orders.

    Noble Phantasm
    Secret of Pedigree
    Helm of hidden infidelity

    Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
    Rank: C
    Description:

“Mother told me not to remove it. Never. And that’s what I’m doing. Sorry if it bothers you, Master.”

A helmet given by Morgan to Mordred to protect his identity, along with the words “You must never remove it”. As he was ordered, Mordred wore it all day during his stay in Camelot, not revealing his face even to the king.

While activated, this Noble Phantasm conceals Mordred’s status to everyone, including his Master. His True Name, gender, and parameters are unable to be read, as well as information regarding his personality, personal skills and Noble Phantasms. Even those familiar with him or anything related to him, such as his fighting style or the design of his sword, will find it hard to discern his identity. As for Rulers, who have the ability to see a Servant’s data instantly, a Luck check is needed to bypass the helmet’s protection.

Contrary to what can be thought, the helmet doesn’t have to be worn in order to work, what makes it easier for Mordred to move freely without standing out. It is only when he unleashes his true power that the effect wears off and his identity is revealed.

    Clarent
    Sword of cowardice

    Type: Anti-Unit
    Rank:
    C
    Description:

“If you wanna follow me in my path of rebellion, I’ll make you my knight. Stay still a little.”

A silver sword originally stored by king Arthur in Camelot’s vaults, sister of the demonic sword Florent possessed by the Roman Lucius Tiberius. Originally used as a sword of amplification that magnifies the authority of the king, its power is similar or exceeding that of the Sword of Selection.

When wielded by someone acknowledged as a king, Clarent, whose original rank is B, rises the owner’s parameters and Charisma by one rank. Mordred, who stole it when he took the throne of Britain for himself while Arthur was fighting Tiberius, never became a proper king, resulting in him not receiving any benefit from it and dropping its rank to C. The property of amplification still remains.

Although not used in battle by Arthur, he did use it as a ceremonial sword to knight those who he trusted the most, the Knights of the Round Table. Mordred, a rebellious knight, would later use it to gather soldiers for his cause. By bestowing others with the honor of becoming the knight of the future king of Britain, Mordred can make them stronger, augmenting their natural talents by using the sword’s properties of amplification. There are some conditions regarding this power up, however.

The first condition is that the knighted person must be someone Mordred would trust his own life to. In other words, there needs to be a bond of friendship previously established. Because of Mordred’s own distrustful personality, this one seems to be the most difficult requirement to fulfill. The other condition is that Mordred needs to remove his helmet and announce his True Name aloud, immediately revealing useful information that can be gathered by the enemy. These two premises follow a king’s ideal of trusting those that stand by him, for they trust him as well.

    Clarent Blood Arthur
Rebellion against my beloved yet despised father

    Type: Anti-Army, Anti-King
    Rank:
    A+
    Description:

“I don’t give a damn about if you aren’t Father, I’m so pissed off I’m gonna use this to erase your sorry ass!”

A Noble Phantasm that represents Mordred’s condition as the knight that would kill king Arthur, a release of Clarent’s full power to which Mordred’s emotions are added as a fuel to turn the silver sword into an antithesis of the king’s radiant holy sword.

By exploiting Clarent’s power of amplification, the energy of Mana Burst has its value multiplied several times. Mordred’s hatred towards Arthur is forcibly transformed into energy that is drawn into the blade and combined with the magical energy to greatly increase the firepower. The surroundings become dyed in a bloody crimson light as the sword of coronation is transformed into a wretched mass that shrieks like a demonic horror before releasing all its energy with a mighty swing. The resulting attack is a crackling stream of raw power that surges from the sword’s tip, as if it was venting all the emotions contained in a single blow.

Because this Noble Phantasm comes from an act of rebellion against a king, bonus damage is dealt against sovereigns. Furthermore, king Arthur, the king Mordred betrayed and killed, would receive even more damage. However, the cost of utilizing this attack isn’t little. Even if Clarent is in charge of increasing the output by leaps and bounds, the energy input is still enormous, what strains Mordred’s body greatly. Shouldn’t his Master not have enough magical energy to support him, he’ll be unable to move for a while after firing his Noble Phantasm. Even with that toll covered, the fact of Mordred having to use his feelings as combustible affects his mental health too. With each usage, the words of Morgan resound louder inside his head, attempting to break him so he becomes her puppet again. Due to this, Mordred only resorts to Clarent Blood Arthur only when it’s truly necessary. Another disadvantage of using it is that it requires to remove his helmet, deactivating its effects and forcing him to show his identity.

    Relations
Arthur Pendragon: “I see, Father is here… No, I’m not gonna see him. I’m predestined to kill him, so I won’t meet him unless we’re enemies…”

    Artoria Pendragon:
“This world’s Father is so small but eats so much… What are you looking at?! I was just surprised that Father here was a girl! W-W-Why would I think she’s cute?!”

    Artoria Pendragon (Lily):
“Oh my god, why is this Father so god. Damn. Pure?!”

    Mordred:
“When I saw the me from here I thought she’d be a bit like me, but why is she so childish?! Even her motivations to kill Father are stupid!”

    Merlin:
“Why is Merlin here such a creep?! I really wanna deck him in the face! Let me have a go at him, Master!”

    Bedivere:
“Bedi?! Where the hell did you get that silver arm from?! That’s so cool! Can you fire it?! You know, like those metal giants in Master’s screen!”

    Tristan:
“Quick, Master, give me a permanent! Hehe, now you’re going to see what happens when you nod off like this, Tristan!”

    Mash Kyrielight:
“What, are you gonna tell me that Galahad here is a girl too? She is a what? The hell is that?!”

    Lancelot:
“Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!! Lancelot here is getting trashed by Shieldy!! That’s what you get for being such a pervert, hahahahahahahahaha!!”

Gawain: “This Gawain is so brotherly it makes me wanna puke… Master, get him away from me!”

Tried to do another precious child, but the more I read, the more I think it's too similar to the original Mordred. Then again, Arthur and Artoria aren't 100% different. Enjoy or not enjoy.

Doesn't what little we know of male!Mordred in Prototype paint him as a crazy yandere? I vaguely remember him saying something like "I'll torture you over and over until you love me, Arthur Pendragon!".

The rest is fine, though a little boring in how similar it is to canon Mordred. The most interesting parts are knighting people with Clarent and his Whispers Of Morgan Skill.

    Caster (Lostbelt)
    Alternate Class: Rider/Ruler
Epithet: Honorable King of the Water Immortals
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Origin: China

    Parameters
    Strength: C
    Endurance: B
    Agility: D
    Mana: A+
    Luck: C
    NP: EX

    Class Skills
    Item Construction: A
Item Construction is a Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to manufacture magical items, from implements of war to items for daily use. Also, this Skill requires time to gather components and manufacture items.

Silver axes capable of beheading demons and mountains, to Caster’s own forbidden Noble Phantasm. And if the item in question is a sandcastle, the limit is truly endless.

    Territory Creation: (C) EX
Territory Creation is a Caster-class Skill. It is the Skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus, such as for the purpose of collecting mana.

Though Caster’s “land creation” aspect is clearly at EX, he’s only able to make use of the territory for his own benefit at a C rank.

    Personal Skills:
    Wubu: A
Wubu, or Shaman Steps, is a Chinese spiritual dance technique related to achieving an ecstatic, trance-like state. A oneness with the environment and the universe around the practitioner.
Based upon the divine Lo Shu Square and Yellow River Diagram--which were presented to Caster in the form of dots on the back of a divine turtle--as well as the Eight Trigrams themselves; it is the crystallization of the effort expended by Caster to tame the Great Flood of China, so much so that he became partially paralyzed. Sages nowadays walk the Wubu (or Yubu) in order to invoke the spirit of Caster, including recreating his lame limp.

Through breathing, and the specific gait of Caster’s disability, all elemental attacks that could be considered as classed under the Five Classic Chinese Elements will be rendered ineffective below the listed rank. It is not a mystical protection in its own right, but the manipulation of luck and probability that causes the user’s body to naturally avoid specific harm. Mostly useless concerning Area of Effect attacks.

As described in the Rishu, Caster’s Wubu was very closely associated with hemerology and the Chinese sexagenery cycle. A magecraft system that can be said to be part numerology, part astrology, and part divination; however Caster continues to only use it as a danger-avoidance skill in this form.

    Available as Greater History Summoning

    Divinity: B
Divinity is the measure of whether one has Divine Spirit aptitude or not. At high levels, one is treated as a mixed race of a Divine Spirit, and the level declines when the Heroic Spirit's own rank as a Monster or Demonic Beast raises. It can also decrease due to one's dislike for the gods. Those who have A Rank Divinity or above has reached the Throne of Gods. It also has an effect which reduces special defensive values called 'purge defense' in proportion to the Divinity's Rank. It can break through Skills such as Protection of the Faith and Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig.

Caster is a descendent of the divine Yellow Emperor, Huangdi. However, because of an unclear lineage, his rank is ordinarily low. Because of his monumental efforts in combating the deluge, Caster was viewed as a sea and river god, the head of the Five Kings of the Water Immortals. However, as Chinese generally fails to differentiate between singular and plural nouns, the Chinese zūnwáng is sometimes considered to refer to Caster as the one and only Water Immortal in existence.

    Soul of a Martyr: B
Soul of a Martyr is a mental protection that negates mental interference.
Commanded by Emperor Shun to continue the unfinished and shoddy work of his father Gun, Caster was forced to give up his family and royal status to travel the length of China alone. On his journey which spanned more than a decade, Caster learned to interact and understand the many people of China. He passed by his own home many times, his son grown up to another stage of his life each time, but still Caster refused to so much as look at his ancestral home until his war against the flood was complete. The hardships scarred his hands and feet beyond repair, but still he toiled.

    Innocent Monster (Lost): B
Innocent Monster is an attribute possessed by Servants whose true history and existence have been distorted by the monstrous reputations and gossips they accrued across the course of their life and thereafter, without concern for the actual person's will or appearance. As a consequence, the Servant's abilities and appearance have been rendered to conform to the specifications of their legend. Incidentally, this Personal Skill cannot be removed.

Ordinarily, Caster should in no way possess a skill like Innocent Monster; despite certain legends and theories that assert that Caster was “historically” never a human at all, but an animal-god who was humanized later on. The skill has instead joined together with Caster’s usual Dragon Slayer skill to form a composite.

The truth of the matter is that Caster was born from his father’s corpse as a dragon that ascended to heaven, but allowed himself to be reincarnated as a human when he witnessed the flood. Slaying many of the dragon-gods that threatened to drown all of humanity, such as Gong Gong and his adviser Xiangliu, this is a Caster who sought “more power” by way of eating the hearts of multiple dragons to confront the flood’s true culprit.

    Noble Phantasm

    Xirang
Though My Flesh Is Earth, It Yet Breathes

    Type: Anti-Unit/(Self)
    Rank: C

Xirang, also known as Swelling Earth, is a magical substance in Chinese mythology that had a self-expanding ability to continuously grow. This phenomenon of denying the laws of mass and equivalent exchange indicate that Caster might well be one of the first wielders of the First Magic, or a system invariably similar.
When the Great Flood began, Gun, the father of Caster, built a series of pikes and dams that ultimately proved ineffective against the rising waters. Desperate, Gun traveled to Heaven and stole the Xirang from Shangdi. Incensed at his theft, Shangdi ordered the execution of Gun, but the fate of the Xirang is unknown. From Gun’s bisected body sprang forth Caster, already a young child. All it would have taken was for Gun to eat a single speck of the Xirang for his son to germinate inside himself; and thus like a certain magus and his origin of “sword”, Caster’s body and origin incorporate the mythical soil.

This is not the literal Xirang that may or may not make up Caster’s body, but a technique based on it that seeks to “continuously replicate at no expense” that only manifests through the ground. Caster gets annoyed when it’s compared to a “certain technique of bending the earth” from a popular cartoon series, but it’s really quite similar!

    Jiǔ Dǐng
    Nine Tripod Cauldrons of Heaven

    Type: Anti-Fate
    Rank: EX

In the Greater History, the Nine Tripod Cauldrons were nine ding cast by Caster upon completion of the war against the Deluge. Representing the Authority of the mandate of heaven, as well as the then nine provinces of ancient China, truly they were huge and imposing.

But these are not the same ding. They were instead cast as a last-ditch effort to save humanity after Caster’s failure to halt the flooding himself. Extracting bronze from the nine islands that were all that remained of earth above the surface of the waves, Caster poured his blood and sweat and divine soul into the very essence of the ding.

    A miracle.

A phenomenon almost identical to that of a “Holy Grail”. A wish-collection factory spread to nine entities in order to lessen the load. However, because of the size and scope of the ding, they require many hundreds of times the energy necessary to evoke the miracle of wish-fulfillment.

Caster claims the being that shoulders the work of producing the miracle is Hundun, the primordial, unknowable being that created order from chaos. The myriad chaos of the wishes and souls collected are automatically sorted and catalogued using Hundun as a sort of external processor. In this incarnation Caster has had no opportunity to use the ding.

    History

Yu the Great was a legendary ruler in ancient China famed for his introduction of flood control, inaugurating dynastic rule in China by establishing the Xia Dynasty, and for his upright moral character.

The dates proposed for Yu's reign predate the oldest known written records in China, the oracle bones of the late Shang dynasty, by nearly a millennium. No inscriptions on artifacts from the proposed era of Yu, nor the later oracle bones, make any mention of Yu; he does not appear in inscriptions until vessels dating to the Western Zhou period. The lack of anything remotely close to contemporary documentary evidence has led to some controversy over the historicity of Yu. Proponents of the historicity of Yu theorise that stories about his life and reign were transmitted orally in various areas of China until they were recorded in the Zhou dynasty, while opponents believe the figure existed in legend in a different form - as a god or mythical animal - in the Xia dynasty, and morphed into a human figure by the start of the Zhou dynasty. Many of the stories about Yu were collected in Sima Qian's famous Records of the Grand Historian. Yu and other "sage-kings" of Ancient China were lauded for their virtues and morals by Confucius and other Chinese teachers.

This is a Yu extremely close to the one from the Greater History of Man: only a single catalyzing event was changed in the timeline. The battle between Yu’s greatest friend, the dragon Yinglong, and the demon Chi You, which in every successful history results in Yinglong’s victory, ended instead with the dragon’s death.

It is Yinglong who is responsible for teaching the “successful” Yu how to properly combat the flooding through irrigation and dams, but with the untimely death of his friend Yu was left to fight a losing battle he wasn’t equipped for. The world in which this Yu inhabits has been completely overrun by water, save for nine landmasses that even he was capable of saving.

Hello. A Lostbelt Servant might not be the best first impression, but here's this thing.

Yeah, I'm the first one to admit he's not very different, that's why I changed Battle Continuation for Whispers of Morgan and added Clarent's knighting, as well as Clarent Blood Arthur affecting him mentally. Anyways, since I have to make him a psycho, I'll change more stuff

    Caster of the Midnight Festival
    Class: Caster
    Alignment: Neutral Good
Title: Cinderella, Rhodopis, Princess of Ashes, Queen of Egypt
    True Name: Doricha
    Origin: Greek Mythology? European Folklore?

    Parameters
    Strength: E
    Endurance: E
    Agility: E
    Mana: B
    Luck: A
    Noble Phantasm: A

    Class Skills
    Territory Creation: A
The creation of a magical territory that amplifies the abilities of a magus and the regeneration of their mana as well as the cost of spells within the territory. Despite the claim being false, Dirocha is believed to have raised up the third pyramid of Egypt or rather, her many lovers raised the pyramid to act as her tomb. Regardless of the legends authenticity, it has been propagated and gives her the ability to construct a similar territory for herself to use as she pleases.

    Item Construction: -
The ability to manufacture magical items for use. The skill is taken over by her first Noble Phantasm.

    Personal Skills
Affection (?) of the Fae: C
Where did this come from? Dirocha has no memory of ever interacting with the fae in her life yet they are said to adore her? They provide her with mana and even appear during her Noble Phantasm. What the hell?

    Familiars (Woodland): B
A strange skill that escapes Dirocha but when she sings, she is able to summon an endless troop of woodland creatures to aid her. They appear to be made from crystals. The cost to create them increases with their size with mice being almost free to create while stags cost greatly. But why singing? Dirocha didn't even know she could sing. And why do those mice look so round?

    Rhodopis: B
She is much more comfortable with this skill. Based upon her well known name which means ‘rosy cheeked’, Dirocha taps into her skills as a hetaera and uses her body to hypnotize her opponents. It is oddly effective against those in high positions or of great wealth with weak mental fortitude or strong libidos. Safe to say, after several millennia, Dirocha’s still got it going on!

    Imperial Privilege: D
The legend of ‘Rhodopis’ Dirocha ends with the heroine marrying a prince and becoming a princess, or rather, she becomes the Queen of Egypt, even conflated to be Nitocris herself, perhaps due to their similar appearances. Dirocha tends to go for something to boost her already heavenly appearance like Golden Rule (Body) or Alluring Nightingale.

    Noble Phantasm
Unscrupulous Guardian of A Wretched Life
    Feé de Tremaine
    Rank: A
    Type: Summoned Noble Phantasm

This makes even less sense than her skills. Not only is the name of her Phantasm in French, a language that did not exist when she was alive, it summons someone who claims to be her ‘fairy godmother’. Dirocha doesn't trust this at all.

The fairy known as Blackstick, or Mother Black as she prefers, doesn't mind that her goddaughter doesn't seem to remember her. Regardless of how she is treated, it is the duty of a godmother to watch over and aid their godchildren however they can. This means the production of powerful Mystic Codes to help Dirocha fight properly. Mother Black specializes in creating enchanted clothing or transforming plant matter into golems or carriages. However, the stronger her creations, the quicker they run out of power and fall apart.

Summoning Mother Black takes a lot of mana but once she appears, she can be maintained easily. She’s useless in direct combat so leaving her somewhere safe to continue her work is for the best. Dirocha doesn't trust the blue clad fae and is hesitant to use her creations. She doesn't like the too sweet way she smiled or how singsongy her voice is, but it's not like she has much choice. This overgrown insect has completely taken over her Noble Phantasm somehow and provides much needed combat advantages. Still, what the hell happened to her legend?

    Glittering Midnight Gown
Danse Armure de Verre: Enchantant La Nuit
    Rank
    : C
    Type: Armor
Technically a subset of the Feé de Tremaine, Dirocha is able to summon a flowing crystalline dress that she doesn't remember. The dress is made from the smallest crystal fragments, weaved together through unknown means by Mother Black with a glass crown and slippers for accessories. The dress must undergo maintenance every six hours to properly function otherwise it will fade away. For some reason, the Noble Phantasm can only be summoned through a key phrase of gibberish words.

Besides making her look absolutely stunning, the dress also scrambles the memory of anyone who sees her in it, making it impossible for them to remember what she looked or sounded like, only remembering the dress, allowing Dirocha to move about without fear as long as she only faces opponents in the dress. It is also a strong armor, capable of taking full strength strikes from a high-class Saber without shattering and taking the brunt of any offensive, non-armor piercing Noble Phantasm C-Ranked and below. The slippers are surprisingly comfortable and feel like velvet despite being entirely glass.

    Lore
Dirocha could not be more confused. As she recalls, her legend was that she, also known as Rhodopis, was a hetaera, essential a prostitute with specific clientele who was doing rather well for herself. One day, an eagle swooped by and stole one of her sandals while she bathed. No big deal. Until she learned said sandal had been dropped in the pharaoh’s lap and was said to be a sign leading to his future queen if he could find who it belonged to. He found her, they got married, and she lived the rest of her life living happily ever after as queen of Egypt.

So why in Hades is she in a dress? Why does her Noble Phantasm include a fairy who claims to be her godmother? Why does she feel the urge to sing about her feelings? Who is that purple haired, long eared weirdo that looks exactly like her? What is going on?!!!!

What Dirocha fails to grasp is that she is simply one of the oldest versions of an age old tale, the story of a down on her luck girl being given the chance of a lifetime through supernatural means and becoming a princess married to a handsome prince and living happily ever after. Yes, she is the originator of Cinderella and many tales like it across the world, and unfortunately for her, in the minds of the modern age, Cinderella is synonymous not with the fairy tale, but with a certain movie, meaning she the originator is as well. How unfortunate.

    Personality
Dirocha could be described as happy-go-lucky. Her life has always been rather easy in comparison to others. Even as a hetaera, she was able to set her own prices with private clients numbering below the double digits. She had money, she had men, she had all she could ever want and still was given more when she ascended to be a Queen, queen of one of the oldest kingdoms in the world. So Dirocha tends not to worry too much about things like that as life always finds a way to fix her problems. What does bother her are the corruptions of her mind. She has always prided herself as being a stable and intelligent person, but now she has memories that aren't her own with thoughts that aren't hers and feelings that aren't hers. Even her Noble Phantasm is something she doesn't recognize. All because the world sees her differently?

    Appearance
Imagine Nitocris. Now imagine her without the ears. There you go.

    - - - Updated - - -

Most of this one is just a joke. I tried being serious about it but that didn't last very long. I just like the idea of a Servant being eternal confused about why she's so different as a Servant.

    SHITENNO

The "Four Heavenly Kings" of the Minamoto clan. A roving band of warriors and heroes who saved Japan from countless threats during the Heian Period.

    Watanabe no Tsuna
    Watanabe no Tsuna

    Class: Saber
    Other Applicable Classes: "Gardener"
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Sex: Male
    Height: 173 cm
    Weight: 79 kg
    Armament: Lightly armored jacket

    STR: A
    CON: C
    AGI: C
    MGI: B
    LCK: E
    Noble Phantasm: B

    Legend

Member of the Minamoto clan’s Shitenno, a four man group of retainers named after Buddhist mythological figures. Together they cleansed Japan of a considerable amount of dangerous creatures that infested it at the time, allowing the poor and defenseless the freedom of living without the constant fear they were used to. Under their leader Minamoto no Raikou, Watanabe no Tsuna, Usui Sadamitsu, Sakata Kintoki, and Urabe no Suetake adventured throughout Japan and slew legendary creatures. Their most famous exploit is the annihilation of the Oni clan found at Mt. Ooe which terrorized the local area.
The former favorite of his liege who gave him the legendary katana that would eventually be called Onikiri. While relieved that Raikou eventually latched onto Kintoki, he still misses being the favorite sometimes. He much prefers the simple life of a farmer to that of a career soldier, but fate has cursed him to always find trouble wherever he goes. The scars on his face come from Ibaraki Douji, the only surviving oni from Mt. Ooe. He cut off her arm in the same fight as retribution.
He has a notoriously terrible history with powerful women, like his Aunt, his liege Minamoto no Raikou, and his rival Ibaraki Douji. Out of every member of the Shitenno, he is the only one who treated Kintoki as a peer as opposed to forging some sort of pseudo-familiar relationship with him.

    Tactics

Tsuna is a rather serious man whose sense of honor leads him to obey any order given to him by a superior, even if he absolutely hates that person (his aunt, for example). He has a tendency to half-heartedly apologize during combat, especially before delivering a death blow. Coupled with the fact that his sword has a mind of its own, it almost seems like Tsuna isn’t in control of most situations he enters. The sword will seem to swing erratically and make sharp angles in the air that would seem nearly impossible for a swordsman of his apparent caliber.
While it might seem that he bumbles through much of his life, the fact that he possesses “Eternal Arms Mastership” at A+ rank implies that much of his laissez-faire personality in battle is an act designed to lower people’s expectations of him. He has a tendency to be rather meticulous about things like chores or traditions while also simultaneously pretending to be nonchalant about it all. In truth, he loves taking care of those sorts of things and will even go out of his way to tidy up his master’s abode.
Due to his association with defeating Ibaraki Douji at Rashomon, his skill set as a servant has become a natural counter to her. Touka Onikiri’s abilities, however, makes any head-on battle between the two of them a test to see whose flames burn brightest. The same could be said for any other servants of demonic origin or ones associated with flame. As his sword’s spirit becomes more aggressive, so does he.

    Class Abilities

    Magic Resistance: C
Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. A rank typical of his time period.

    Riding: C
Most vehicles and animals can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasmal Species such as Monstrous Beasts. Because he does not have an anecdote of riding anything special or worth mentioning, he receives a low rank in this Skill for a Saber.

    Personal Skills

    Mystery Killer: A
Personal skill of Minamoto no Yorimitsu and her Shitenno. Confers parameter boosts and offense/defense bonuses when dealing with monsters and beasts with high mystery. Oni are especially susceptible to this skill.

    Mana Defense (Flames): B
A skill which directly translates magical power into defensive potential. His defense is superior when dealing with fire aspected attacks and he is capable of counter-attacking using a burst of flames. Either borrowed from Ibaraki Douji’s Oni biology during his possession of her arm or developed specifically to counter her should she reappear.

    Eternal Arms Mastership: A+
Mastership of combat arts has reached the point of being said to be unrivaled in one's era. By complete merging of mind, body and technique, it is possible to make use of full fighting skills even when under the influence of any sort of mental hindrance. Even after years of disuse, Tsuna’s fighting prowess had not faded by Ibaraki’s reappearance.

    Botany: D+
A skill granted to servants skilled in the fostering of plant life. While Tsuna isn’t particularly known for his green thumb, the meticulous act of tending his peach orchard kept his mind sharp in times of peace. An extremely delicious peach can be grown in record time, but he can only grow peaches.

    Noble Phantasm

    Touka Onikiri
    Demonrending Blade of Rashomon Gate

    Rank: B+
    Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
    Range: 5m
    Maximum Targets: Single Target

A blade so sharp it tears through the air molecules surrounding it, wreathing it in a sheath of pink-colored plasma when “active.” The color of the plasma created by the blade is heavily dependent on whoever wields it, but the effect of it constantly cutting through the air creates a noise somewhat like a lion’s roar. The blade can be sheathed to collect the plasma into a concentrated form, then swiftly released to create a wild, burning crescent. Unusually, the motes of energy created by the blast coalesce into shapes resembling flower petals.
Granted sentience by Hachiman, the god of Warriors, it will restrain itself when not in use (thus “turning off” its plasma creation) but will also automatically attack opponents who dishonorably targets its master while he isn’t looking. The blade’s personality has a strong sense of pride, however, so the blade also has a tendency to lash out at anyone who derisively mentions its length or insults its master. Even comparing the sword to another sword hurts it's fragile pride, so in a fight between Saber class servants Touka Onikiri will overclock itself to proclaim its superiority over other swords (regardless of how much damage that does to the sword or to Tsuna).

    Author's Notes
Tsuna appears older than the rest of the Shitenno when summoned, much to his chagrin. Because his most famous tale happened after the Mt. Ooe Oni Extermination event, he is summoned at the age when the Rashomon Incident occurred and bears the scars he received in that encounter. His unfortunate luck with powerful women causes him to be wary of female Servants.

    Armament: Samurai-pattern armored jumpsuit, katana

Similar to her liege, Minamoto no Raikou, Sadamitsu treats her loved ones with a familial subtext, in her case one of a younger sibling. A classic “older-sister type,” she has a tendency to spoil her “adorable younger sibling” with praises or gifts. Sadamitsu was actually the one to “rescue” Kintoki from his demonic mother after getting to know him. Ever since then, they have been like family. She has the utmost respect for her liege, so much so that she turned custody of Kintoki over to her despite knowing full well the madness of Raikou’s dark moods. Still, when Raikou was at her worst, Sadamitsu would rush to Kintoki’s side and protect him even when he no longer needed her help. She can in part be blamed for Kintoki’s naivety.

    Tactics

Sadamitsu is a rather non-standard Lancer due to having a rather defensive skill set. At first glance, her abilities seem ill-suited for a Grail War until one considers that Heroic Spirits are still counted as “spirits.” Her Noble Phantasm, Kanzeon no Hoyo, thus gains further benefits against virtually all typical opponents in a Grail War. Additionally, her High-Speed Sutra Chanting allows her to access further boons during combat, almost as though she had a Buddhist ally providing supporting magic.
Thanks to the enhanced healing provided by Gomuso Onsen, Sadamitsu can survive fatal wounds and be perfectly fine after a quick dip in its waters. Masters suffering from a debilitating condition or an illness can make a miraculous recovery thanks to these waters. Due to her great compassion, Sadamitsu is typically drawn to these sort of individuals during the summoning process. This sort of honest desire to help people, coupled with her fervent buddhism, is why the great Kannon Bodhisattva blessed Sadamitsu with some of her strength. As a devout buddhist, Sadamitsu will make a point to visit shrines with her master, just as she did in life. If there are no shrines available, she may dedicate some of her master’s funds to making one, or perhaps she might raise some money to build one by opening an Onsen.

    Class Abilities

    Magic Resistance: C+
Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. A rank typical of her time period. She can temporarily boost this rank using her sutras.

    Personal Skills

    Mystery Killer: A
Personal skill of Minamoto no Yorimitsu and her Shitenno. Confers parameter boosts and offense/defense bonuses when dealing with monsters and beasts with high mystery. Oni are especially susceptible to this skill.

    High-Speed Sutra Chanting: C
The ability to recite Buddhist sutras at an accelerated speed. Blessings may be bestowed upon others and upon oneself, even mid-combat, so long as proper reverence is maintained. Daily meditation provides boosts and makes boons higher than C-rank possible with enough dedication. Additionally confers knowledge of Buddhist magecraft.

    Oath of the Protector: C-
Skill granted to those who swear to protect heroic figures and foster their growth into legends. As the one who found Sakata Kintoki, killed his mother, raised him in his early years, and protected him from Minamoto no Raikou’s excessive affection, Sadamitsu’s ability to protect a charge from dangers is noteworthy. Grants defensive bonuses to the “target of protection” and increases their luck parameter by a rank.

    Noble Phantasm

    Kanzeon no Hoyo
A Salve for the Ailing Soul

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
    Range: 5 m
    Maximum Targets: Single Target

A naginata granted to Sadamitsu by the bodhisattva Kannon so that she might liberate a town from the Orochi-spawn that terrorized it. As a gift from the goddess of mercy, the spear leaves a gentle trail of white mist behind it as it moves. The blade carries a powerful purification effect that greatly increases damage to enemies considered “spirits,” “demons,” or “enemies of the common people.” The white mist acts like a powerful acid that eats away at their very form until nothing remains but bones.
Calling forth the name of the Noble Phantasm allows Sadamitsu to borrow a fraction of Kannon’s power. While a comparatively miniscule amount is granted, the sheer incalculability of Guanyin’s power makes it an incredible amount regardless. A manifestation of the thousand armed and thousand eyed bodhisattva appears behind Sadamitsu as she delivers a greatly magnified spear slash that releases a blinding white crescent of energy. Since the force is magnified but not the range, it is especially damaging but is neither more nor less accurate.

    [/SIZE][/B]
    Gomuso Onsen
    Hidden Waters, Forty Thousand Blessings

    Rank: C
    Type: Anti-Team Noble Phantasm
    Range: 5~20 m
    Maximum Targets: 20

The legend of a sacred hot spring discovered by Sadamitsu while she was chanting her morning sutras. The ultimate curative, able to remedy nearly all diseases and wounds, can be found in the mineral-rich spring water created as a blessing by a high level elemental. By driving her naginata into the ground, Sadamitsu can call forth the mystic spring waters, no matter where she is or what she is driving her spear into. The curative effect improves over time, so the best way to use it is to submerge oneself into the waters for a few hours, preferably in a mixed bath. Sadamitsu is able to control the pressure of the water, so with enough creativity it could be used for combat purposes.

    Author's Notes
Summoning Sadamitsu is a great boon for any Grail War host city with a major hospital, especially ones dedicated to a certain Saint of Lost Causes. Assuming word gets out about her onsen, patients can start making miraculous recoveries. If Kintoki is summoned alongside her, she will go out of her way to protect him, even if they should be enemies. There's never really a dull moment with Sadamitsu.

Their most famous exploit is the annihilation of the Oni clan found at Mt. Ooe which terrorized the local area.
Suetake is the member of the Shitenno with the least amount of legends surrounding him. As the Shitenno’s support, he was typically absent from some of their most martial tales, other than the Mt. Ooe Oni Extermination Event. The legends that do exist about him paint him as a brave warrior that wouldn’t back away from a challenge. His sense of pride, both in his refined image and in his own abilities, is as unshakeable as his aim. This pride also pertains to his dual membership in the Minamoto and Taira clans. Out of all of the Shitenno, he feels the worst about the strife that would befell the Minamoto and Taira clans. While the Genpei War happened well after his death, he wishes that he could have done something to prevent it.

    Tactics

Suetake's purifying arrows allow him to create territory favorable for himself before an encounter. While this makes him excellent at resisting a siege, it doesn’t help him all that much in pitched combat. As a samurai, however, he isn’t helpless in those situations; he is skilled in swordplay after all. He always keeps a katana strapped at his side, ready to be drawn should an opponent close in. Suetake has taken advantage of his ability to materialize his Noble Phantasm at will by fluidly transitioning between archery and swordplay. The moment an opponent is out of range of his sword, they are in range of his bow. On the battlefield, he is a consummate professional that doesn't let emotions impact his work. No matter how pitiful a monster may look, it is still a threat to human existence.
Suetake can be both easy and difficult to work with as a servant. While he will generally accept orders, he will hardly follow them to the letter. He will always interpret a command in his own way and make adjustments to plans here and there per his own judgement. This can be good for some less confident Masters, but those who want to be in control will quickly be displeased. He can't even be trusted to follow a shopping list. He has a tendency to treat others like younger siblings or juniors, though his liege was a definite exception.

    Class Abilities

    Magic Resistance: C
Cancel spells with a chant below two verses. Cannot defend against magecraft on the level of High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals. A rank typical of his time period.

    Independent Action: B
The ability to remain independent even when rejecting the Magical Energy supply from one's Master. It is possible for a Servant to stay in the world for two days without a Master. However, this is the ideal value achieved by maximally conserving mana and avoiding battle and Noble Phantasm usage. As the Shitenno’s long range support, Suetake frequently had to stake out a good distance from his comrades.

    Personal Skills

    Mystery Killer: B+
Personal skill of Minamoto no Yorimitsu and her Shitenno. Confers parameter boosts and offense/defense bonuses when dealing with monsters and beasts with high mystery. Oni are especially susceptible to this skill. Suetake specializes in dealing with specters and the undead, so his overall rank is lowered but his effective rank is greatly boosted when confronting creatures of that particular type.

    Bravery: A
The ability to negate mental interference such as pressure, confusion and fascination. It also has the bonus effect of increasing melee damage. Among the Shitenno, Suetake was the one who would never feel fear, or even emotion, on the battlefield. He has a cold demeanor that lets him confront things like ubume or other ghostly yokai with ease.

    Harp of Healing: C
A Skill that gives the user the ability to exorcise evil spirits and heal others by playing a melody with a harp, or in this case the bowstring of Azusa Yumi. The deep, bassy sound produced by the bowstring seems to resonate with the souls of evil spirits, cleansing and purifying them. The sound of the bowstring also suppresses the mental disturbance of allies, which certainly aided Suetake in dealing with his liege’s moods.

    Noble Phantasm

    Azusa Yumi
A Bowstring Drawn For a Pure Existence

    Rank: B
    Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
    Range: 5m
    Maximum Targets: Single Target

A sacred bow, patterned after one wielded by the legendary first Emperor Jimmu. This copy in particular belonged to the Minamoto clan and was once used to slay a demon plaguing the Imperial Palace. Unlike most copies, which take after the vermillion of male energy or the black of female energy, this version combines them both into one powerful artifact. Similarly, the yanone-tipped arrows used by this bow feature a swirling pattern that incorporates the black and white used to represent male and female energy respectively. These arrows whistle as they fly, creating a purifying sound with a strength based on his Harp of Healing skill. The purifying effect of these arrows derives itself from the power of the kami, which puts it somewhat at odds with Sadamitsu’s similar but Buddhist purification techniques.
The bow can be used for a ritual titled
    Shihobarai
    Purification of the Four Kings
. By firing four arrows in different spiritually chosen directions, he can create a bounded field that rejects all spiritual entities other than ones he selectively permits. This same ritual is performed annually in Shinto temples. This sacred bow bolsters this bounded field into a nigh-impassable wall if performed on temple ground. Without existing holy ground, the bounded field created is equivalent in strength to those surrounding temples with several hundred years of prayer.
A less overtly spiritual technique he can perform with this bow involves a specially twisted arrow with an arrowhead carved to resemble a willow leaf. The black and vermillion energies of the bow impart onto this arrow a rotational acceleration that creates a twisting vortex behind the arrow as it flies. While this arrow does not whistle, it is much more capable of resisting the destructive force of this attack than the purifying ones are. Performing this technique puts some strain on the bow, however, so it cannot be used too frequently.

    Author's Notes
There wasn't a lot about Urabe no Suetake, a problem I'm sure other people have encountered before I made this sheet. I made some educated guesses though, and attributed to him things that he could have feasibly owned. Other vassals of the Minamoto clan have used that bow, for example. The color scheme of the bow used in Raiko's NP fit the vermilion and black color schemes of the sacred bows, so I just combined the feminine and male bows into one bow.

Hear me now, O heart of the World:
Light of Man, Dawn of Life
    Reaching Antiquity, Seizing the Future
I call upon the stories of heroes long forgotten
With this hand I will make thee whole.
Hear me now, God of Prophecy,
    I take up thy Mantle:

    Virgilius Musagetes
    Chorus of the Incarnate Dawn

Yu the Great: A very good sheet all around, especially for your first post. The Lostbelt aspect seems kind of unnecessary though. Don't get me wrong, it'd be an interesting idea for a fanfic to explore, but in a Servant sheet it just feels like an excuse to give him a few more cool things that weren't in his legend. Maybe if you fleshed out more of his personality and how it differs from his Greater History self I'd think differently, though.

Also, Soul Of A Martyr doesn't really fit him IMO, since that Skill strikes me as meant for religious martyrs specifically. If it's just enduring hardships, Unyielding Will or Determination Of Steel would make more sense.

Thank you. Everything Yu has here he would have ordinarily, but how they work and what they do are different, I guess? (Except Innocent Monster obviously)
I turned Xirang into earthbending-lite only because otherwise breaking the laws of equivalent exchange would qualify as True Magic and doing that would have made me nervous. Lostbelt Yu is more of a physically fighting "rip and tear at all costs" kind of Caster while the Greater History version would be more in line with his philosopher-king legend. Sort of a "villainous" good guy to Daneel's various Chi Yous (I've been lurking for a while), but I finished this at like 2AM so it might have gotten sloppy towards the end.

Wow, everybody's sheets are really good!

"Martial Arts is freedom! Amid that limitless freedom, I materialized my thoughts. Yes, this Karate is the model of my heart!"

    Assassin

True Name: Ankō Itosu (Japanese name) / Ankō Ichiji (Ryukyuan birth name)
    Epithet: "The Father of Karate"
    Origin: Historical
    Period: 19th Century
    Region: Ryukyu Kingdom
Catalyst: The letter he wrote to the Japanese Minister of Education explaining about "Karate"
    Armament: His cloth hand wraps
    Alignment: Lawful Good
Likes: Duke of Wellington, Literature (especially Chinese Classics), Teaching
    Dislikes: Bullies, His Father
    Talents: Calligraphy, Administritive Duties
    Natural Enemy: Patriarchal figures

    Parameters:
    STR: (C) END: (B) AGI: (B) MGI: (E) LCK: (C) NP: (A)

    Personality
Taking the form of a slightly shorter than average man, Ankō wouldn't give off the impression that he was a martial artist if it weren't for the Karate Gi he always wears. Cheerful, amiable and optimistic but also quiet and introspective, Ankō strives to get along with his Master no matter who they are. However the one thing he cannot abide by is when the strong torment those who cannot fight back and if his Master partakes in such cruelty than he will not hesitate to reprimand them. Naturally as a martial artist he is thrilled at the prospect of being able to fight with other warriors from the exotic lands beyond the horizon of his tiny island. Of note is that Ankō understands the difference between a duel and war and so he knows not to fight fair where possible in the Holy Grail War. One of his favourite dirty tricks is to pretend he's tightening his cloth hand wraps only to really loosen them and catch an enemy by surprise by slinging it around their leg and tripping them up - a parlour trick originating from trying to keep his students on their toes at all times. As an aside, this can also be used in all manner of situations like catching someone if they fall off a building or something.

His wish upon the Grail? To meet his master Sōkon one final time and show him the fruits of his training - Karate, which Sōkon passed away just before Ankō managed to perfect it. Just one final rematch between Teacher and Student is all he desires.

    Skills

    Class Skills

    Presence Concealment - (B)
The capacity to hide both one's presence as a Servant and one's existence in general. Since the practise of martial arts was banned throughout the Ryukyu Kingdom, as such from his initial training as a child all the way to teaching students as an old man, Ankō had become adept at disappearing from sight and moving without being seen. These stealth tactics have manifested as this Skill. Suitable for spying and reconnaissence, however the Rank drops considerably when making an attack.

    Personal Skills

    Empyrean Eye - (C)
A low level ocular ability that permits the resolution of a desired result as 'inevitable' by way of committing the entirety of the user's existence to the act of achieving the outcome. The one talent Ankō had that was not created through training, this Skill instead finds its origin in his instinctive ability to read the situation and sense what will happen. In practice, Ankō's strikes will naturally move towards the most efficient path to strike the enemy even bypassing attempts to defend - as if Ankō had seen the future. However, this ability is not infallible - especially at such a middling Rank and thus enemy Skills like Instinct or Clairvoyance at higher Ranks can easily counter this ability.

    Ryukyuan Martial Arts - (A)
A value that measures one's mastery of the pursuit of the combat arts native to the Ryukyu Kingdom. More than just fighting, it is a way of life for its practitioners who for as long as the Kingdom existed had to practice it in secret so it blended into their daily lives such as using household items to practise sword and spear techniques with. Normally one cannot reach to top Rank of "A" of this Skill without mastering all aspects of martial arts including grappling and weapons use, but Ankō's single minded dedication to perfecting his empty hand strikes lead to an unprecedented level of skill that put him on par with the other Ryukyuan masters.

    Unyielding Will - (B)
A Skill that represents one's extremely firm will that never yields to any sort of agony, despair or circumstances. A combination of the years of physical abuse at the hands of his father in order to create a "fighting spirit" which increased his pain tolerance and his body strengthening training under his teacher has given him tremendous resistance against physical and mental damage making him capable of shrugging off virtually all non-fatal injuries during combat. However, said resistance will not hold against attacks that aim at beguiling others - such as illusions.

    Noble Phantasm

    The Ten Precepts of Karate
    Rank: C - A
    Type: Anti-Unit Noble Phantasm
    Range: 1 metre
    Maximum Targets: Variable

A Noble Phantasm created in combining the ten
    Kata
    Forms
Ankō created with the ten rules of thought behind Karate in mind. The end result is a hidden technique that utilises the various Forms in rapid succession to strike either an opponent repeatedly or several foes in the blink of an eye. Not all Forms have to be preformed, but at least the first three ("Protection", "Strengthening" and "Diligence") are required to unleash this Noble Phantasm at the minimum Rank of "C". The more Forms are used the more damage is done and the Rank scales up to match it. If all ten strikes connect cleanly then even for the average Servant that is an almost certain death sentence. Alternatively, if facing multiple opponents such as the familiars of a Caster, Ankō can target up to ten enemies and divide up the strikes individually though that drastically limits the damage done to each opponent.
As it is a technique that utilises his hands and feet, Ankō must take care not to let the bones or muscles in them take damage as that would impair both the strength and the efficiency of the technique. But perhaps the greatest weakness is the order of Forms was created to maximise agility and destructive potential and so it mustn't be changed which has the consequence of any enemy who sees the technique and lives has a far greater chance of predicting and countering it the second time. That being said, Karate is an ever evolving style and if he observes an opponent's fighting style for long enough it might be possible to create an 11th Form specifically to defeat that person as a last ditch attempt for victory.

For those curious, the names of all Ten are: Protection, Strengthening, Diligence, Repetition, Stance, Teaching, Duty, Spirit, Wisdom, Evolution.

    Lore
Born "Ankō Ichiji" to a lowly ranking aristocratic family, nothing much was expected of Ankō other than to follow in his father's footsteps and obtain a minor administrative post in the Government. However, everything changed when by chance one morning he stumbled into Sokōn Matsumura - an undefeated warrior whose skills earned him the role of the King's bodyguard and an aristocratic title. "Please mister, teach me the way to gain one's fighting spirit" the young Ankō said recognising the famous warrior. "Go away kid, you know that the practise and teaching of martial arts is still officially banned. You trying to get me in trouble? Besides, I barely have enough free time now that I'm in royal service, I don't wanna spend any more of it teaching brats how to fight." But Ankō persisted with his request until Sokōn's patience reached its limit - "Enough! Listen here kid, give me your sandals. I'll put them on the top of this stone wall. If you can knock the sandals off of the wall, then I'll teach you martial arts." laughing at the impossible challenge Sokōn took his leave. And so the hours passed as Ankō tirelessly slammed his fists into the stone wall. By the evening as Sokōn was heading back to the capital he passed by the stone wall from earlier only to find the area where he had placed the sandals had completely crumbed down. Looking around he found Ankō asleep under a tree with the sandals in hand. As he moved to take the sandals, Sokōn realised that Ankō had broken his hands in multiple places in breaking the wall. Wondering why someone would go so far he examined the boy's body more closely and found several wounds on his torso that resembled brand markings. Concerned, Sokōn took Ankō back home and interrogated the boy's father. As it turns out, his father took the stress of his job out on Ankō by tying him up and poking him with an iron hot poker - all in the defence of cultivating the boy's "fighting spirit". Enraged Sokōn beat down the father and declared that Ankō was now his student and responsibility.

Using all of Sokōn's influence and connections, by day Ankō was training to be the King's future secretary and by night he practised martial arts in secret under his master. However there was still one problem - Ankō was pretty short even by Ryukyuan standards. His diminutive stature made it difficult to do grappling and his skill in using weapons was also pretty non-existent. Initially tempted to write him off as a lost cause, Sokōn changed his mind when he saw Ankō practice tirelessly through the night and even in the rain without a word of complaint. Watching the boy's attempts to overcome his limitations and seeing himself in him, Sokōn sat his student down and said - "Listen kid, even though you might not be good at some things, that just means you have to perfect what you are good at. Martial Arts isn't about violence, it's the expression of one's heart. Think back to that time when you broke that stone wall. That was nothing more than your bare fists infused with your fighting spirit - remember that and work to master the
    Kara
    Empty
    Te
    Hand
    strike!"

And so the years passed and Ankō continued to practice until it was as natural as breathing for him. Eventually he started to gain his own reputation after he stopped a burglar by punching through the wooden gate to his house as the criminal tried to break the lock - knocking him out. Another story tells of how he challenged a gang who were terrorising a local village and when they attacked him, he defeated them all by himself. By the twilight years of the Kingdom's rule Ankō had gained several students of his own. When the Japanese Empire annexed the islands of Ryukyu and abolished the Monarchy, Ankō found himself out of a job. But it was then that he saw his chance, he wrote a letter to Japan's Minister of Education called "The Ten Precepts of Karate" which explained the benefits that Ryukyuan martial arts could bring to the Empire - dubbing it "Karate". Impressed by his argument, the ban on martial arts that lasted almost 500 years was lifted and the Minister made him a part-time teacher at Okinawa's First Junior Prefectural High School where he became "Ankō Itosu" and taught martial arts. Now that he was teaching schoolchildren, Ankō revised the "Kata" (Forms) into Ten simple ones that children could more easily learn and he went on to teach many future masters of Karate.

    Creator's Notes
So I was suffering from creative block regarding some of my more complicated Sheets and so I decided to go back to the beginning and start afresh with a martial artist Servant once again to inspire creativity. Despite using Sekai as the faceclaim, I also took a bit of inspiration from Rock Lee (Naruto) in the whole "can't use weapons or grappling so he'll become the greatest hand to hand user ever!" as well as the Ten Precepts being sorta similar to the Eight Gates that Lee uses. Definitely gave him an underdog vibe in comparison to his teacher Sokōn whom I was also tempted to do a Sheet of, maybe one day. It's also refreshing to do a martial artist Sheet that isn't from China. If it wasn't obvious, I practiced Karate as a child and so it always had a place in my heart even as I switched to the boxing club in school and college. <3

As usual, all comments and criticisms are welcome.

"Greetings! I ask, are you my- wait, did you summon in the Archer class?"

    "WHY?!"
    Class: Archer
    Alternate Classes: Caster
    True Name: Arthur Llewellyn Jones/Machen
    Alignment: Lawful Good
    Armament: A heavenly bow
    Manifestation Cost: High

    Bio:
Arthur Machen was one of the most prominent writers of horror in the modern era, and is well remembered by the mage society for having worked tirelessly in his pursuit of occult knowledge, becoming a skilled Mage in his own right who made headway in deciphering the mysteries of the cosmos, uncovering the some of the first trappings of beings later written on by H. P. Lovecraft. His research of the Fae is widely celebrated and remains standard reading for many young aspiring mages. Machen based much of his writing on literature upon his own experiences.

Notably, when the British Army seemed on the brink of annihilation at the hands of the Germans, he was able to summon an army of wraiths using the battlefield of Agincourt nearby for a catalyst to save them, giving rise to the legend of the Angels of the Mons. This took him considerable effort to do so, and he went to great lengths to ensure the general public were made to think that the events were entirely fictional, though this has failed. It is said he used relics of Saint George to grant him considerable amounts of mana to aid in this most impressive endeavor, one which lead to his scrutiny by the Clocktower.

Some even say he recovered the true Holy Grail. However, this has never been proven despite considerable investigation. Though a controversial figure to this day, Machen is still acknowledged as one of the most powerful and skilled mages of the modern era.

    Parameters
    Strength: D
    Endurance: E
    Agility: D
    Mana: B
    Luck: C+
    NP: A+

    Class Skills:

    Independent Action: C
Archer was, in life, an inventive and inquisitive soul who lived his life in pursuit of knowledge. His work as a mage and research into beings such as the Fae, which he referred to as the Little People, is considered some of the most informative and insightful in that particular field, and his conflict with the Clocktower is the stuff of legend. His influence in literature as well inspired H. P. Lovecraft to conduct his research upon beings known as the Outer Gods. That Archer was able to retain his sanity despite his investigations into such phenomenon speaks of a strong spirit. Archer can thus remain in the world for about a day without a Master.

    Magic Resistance: B
An unusually high level for a Servant of the modern era, almost as if it has been boosted by some unknown means, Archer's life was filled with magic from a young age as he devoted himself to studying the mysteries of magecraft, even joining the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Archer also heavily studied the Fae and legends of magic, encountering them in his time through his research. Archer can cancel spells with a chant below three verses, and if targeted by High-Thaumaturgy and Greater Rituals is difficult to be affected by them.
    Personal Skills:

    Magecraft: D
Archer’s skill in magecraft is well known and celebrated in the mage world at large but has been lowered due to being summoned in this class. He may use Magecraft in battle to enhance his combat abilities.

    Battle Continuation: D
Not a skill that Archer earned in life but rather one which he has gained by using Saint George’s essence in several relics to give him the mana needed to summon the Angels of the Mons. This association with the Saint and his actions in saving so many men despite the risk to himself has resulted in him gaining the skill. Archer can sustain serious injuries and keep fighting.

    Clairvoyance: C+
To successfully save the British Army at the Mons, Archer had to use all his skill to observe the battle as he directed his wraiths against the Germans. Through the use of magecraft Archer can acquire this skill, allowing him to keenly observe his surroundings.

    Familiar Creation: B
Archer is able to summon familiars in the form of the Little People, his name for the Fea. These familiars can be used for scouting and aiding him in battle. As they are wraiths inspired by the Fea, the Little People share many characteristics with them.

    Noble Phantasms:

    Angels of the Mons: A

    Anti-Army

The Angels of the Mons refers to the legend that it was a heavenly host of bowmen which saved the British Army at the battle during World War One, though in truth it was through Archer's efforts in life that they were saved, though it took him years to recover in his standing with the Clocktower.

A Noble Phantasm which is always activated, Archer now has an army of wraiths, each one based off the English longbowmen who fought at Agincourt. This army has been equipped with D-Rank bows made of Semi-Divine light thanks to the distortion of the legend that it was Angels who saved the British Army at the Mons, much to Archer's exasperation. These bowmen all have the Independent Action skill at rank C and can be used as scouts and spies by Archer to locate and attack his foes. Archer may also use them in a group to attack in mass, firing volley after volley of Semi-Divine arrows at the enemy.

    Shield of the Saint: D

    Anti-Unit(Self)

As the legend goes the angels fought for Saint George, Archer has also acquired a kind of shield modelled after Saint George's cross, which manifests as a large mystical red cross that can be used to effortlessly block attacks below rank C and decrease damage from those above, extending in size to include all others that Archer considers allies. This reflects the belief that Saint George protected the British Army.

    The Secret Glory: A+

    Anti-Unit(Self)

The greatest achievement of Archer is one he strove to keep a secret. For during his journeys and studies into the old tales of magic, Archer managed to discover the location of the true Holy Grail. Not the omnipotent wish granting device which has been fought over by mages in the Holy Grail War but the very chalice used to contain the blood of Christ. Aware of what a miraculous find this was, Archer made every effort to conceal and hide it, otherwise, others would try and steal it for nefarious purposes. He rarely used it himself, but did manage to gain a boost from it to save the British Army.

The Secret Glory is the very grail Archer discovered. A continously active Noble Phantasm, it not only raises the ranks of Archer's class skills but also grants a bonus to all his stats. Should Archer gain a serious injury it will heal him and serves as a source of infinite mana. Archer can grant this infinite mana to his allies as well.

The Secret Glory can also perform a 'miracle' of sorts, an event which can be used to defy the odds. This can be any kind of event, from changing Archer's fortunes in battle to sealing the skills and Noble Phantasms of enemy Servants, but it can only be performed once. Afterward, the Secret Glory will demanifest and Archer will lose any bonuses he gained from it.

Personality: Archer retains his inquisitive nature, and is known for being polite and affable. Archer enjoys the countryside and will often take walks by himself through it. He has a talent for acting as well and greatly enjoys writing. However, he will make it very clear he does not enjoy being summoned in this class, aware that it is due to his unshakeable association with the Angels of the Mons, something Archer has always tried to cover up and pass off as a work of fiction. He would much rather be a Caster. When it comes to the Secret Glory Archer is very defensive and tries to hide it on instinct, aware of what a target he would if this Noble Phantasm was widely known.

    Wish for the Holy Grail:
    See his wife Amy again.

Likes: Wales, mysticism, Saint George, literature
    Dislikes: The Bowmen

Ankō: Nice. Seeing martial artists as Servants is always cool, especially if they aren't Chinese. Him having Empyrean Eye bothers me, though. Wasn't that supposed to be Musashi's Mystic Eye?

Machen: Hm, I'm not really fond of this one. Just the fact of him having the true Holy Grail is a huge wank, and even more considering he's a very modern Servant.
