Definitely not, especially with recipients like Erik. But pipe dreams are pipe dreams for a reason! Poor guy barely warranted a Garen spin and essentially didn't even get real ascension changes.

I'm just happy they actually did have all these neat NPs, even if we never see them in anything.

I guess it'd be like if Herk was a rider with no notable animal or vehicle that he rides and the closest thing is a skill referring to that lion he choked out and saying that lion is his vehicle np.

edit: but it's actually not the lion at all and it's just him choking you out.

I'll be sure to remember that when playing Gil as he shoots swords or Rama as he swords his arrow.

Iskandar is a Rider because he has both a chariot and a horse that he rides, both of which are Phantasms. Ushi rides nothing.

Well, her horse. But it's appears nowhere outside of her introductory vid and isn't a part of her Noble Phantasm.

He cites himself that it's the chariot, not the horse that landed him as he is in that form (else he'd be young Alexander, the one where the horse is actually his NP), and the chariot was not actually even particularly his, just associated with him, which he points out.

Anyway, I don't actually see why the NP has to be the mount. Medusa's NP is actually the bridle, not the horse itself, and she isn't actually associated with riding it in her myth either.
