They did the same for EXTRA, and this is the second part of CCC iirc, with the first having been released quite some time ago.

Liz is a prodigious screw-up.
I don't know, when he said that that was before we had much contact with her, and it him mostly speculating it like "at most she would be a B or A rank Servant" while being nonchalant about it because even if she was they could still handle her.

Gawain is at that A level himself so being nonchalant about handling her doesn't really say much to discount her strength

and as already said for all her power she's a giant screw up at her core so
I never really understood how they say that about her. As a Lancer, the only good stat she has is A-rank Mana; followed by B-rank Luck. The rest is crap. Even her NPs have shit ranks. And she's a colossal fuckup to boot. She's better as a Berserker, but overall still pretty mediocre.
