I think it might derive from the tale where Musasshi beat Koujiro using strategy instead of swordsmanship, and Nasuverse just had it that nobody sees it. The description says the NP is an insult to all swordsmen, so it might be her stalling technique which made Koujiro loses his composure, falling easily to one hit from Musasshi's ore.

Seems like the biggest stretch I've ever read. Even if that single, short, incomplete sentence implied he did something to her, it's pretty obvious that this "something" is just what he ended up as.
