I mean, the idea of Chiyome's design is fine, but it's just excessively gaudy. Even in 2nd form that headwear is bad.

Given Hiroyama has shown to be pretty good at costume design, I choose to assume he deliberately decided to give Chiyome a terrible fashion sense.

Which IMO would at least help her be cute.

It's just the Dress of Heaven reinterpreted as a japanese bridal dress (most noticeably the hood). Any bad parts come from the Dress of Heaven being fairly skimpy and hole-y to begin with.

It's his first Servant (he's only done CEs for FGO), and frankly, he did a beautiful job with Danzou. I really hope they employ him for more Servants.

I prefer the 2nd form, I like ponytails. :V

However, objectively speaking, the non-final arts have somewhat wonky faces, stuff like oversized forehead, sideeye, rhino and pointy chin, but they're minor enough to be ignorable. The final art is much better, although the legs are pretty long.

But yeah Danzou is top cute and I'm rolling for her.

The only visible reply on that tweet in Google cache is, "The saddest thing that happened this year was you being put in charge of Parvati's artwork."

It isn't clear that the one tweet led to him deleting his accounts.
