I'm kind of meh towards both, but since removing the game will put some holes in the overall MGS plot, while removing the movie won't really make much of a difference since it came out after all the others, and doesn't add that much to the story, I'll vote for removing the movie. Though I like the movie more than the game if I'm honest. But then I don't really play the MGS games, since the gameplay isn't my thing, I just like the story and sometimes the music.

Unless I'm forgetting anything from earlier games that was addressed in it, no? It's the latest game in the timeline right now, so any holes would be ones that it creates, the others should be fine.
Indeed, the whole point of setting it post-MGS4 was so the team could have full creative freedom without having to link it to any of the other games' plotlines.
Granted that came with its own problems but this isn't the thread for that...
