Also quilt for life but I have a thinner one during the summer.
Luckily my house is air-conditioned, so I sleep in my street clothes. If it's too hot to be under the comforter, I just lie on top of it.
However, when my college dorm got intolerably hot, I found anything and nothing equally uncomfortable as long as I was on an actual bed. Wound up sleeping on the couch in the student lounge. No, not naked.
