Neat, I was going to make a Steam thread myself. I usually play lots of Tf2 and the occasional L4d/L4d2, and I make occasional models for Tf2. I'm actually going to school to have a chance of working for Valve. Glad to see you guys there, and feel free to add me.

I've only got Total War games now; just got Shogun 2 in the mail today in fact. Unfortunately I'm at college right now and I left my new computer (as I don't trust in it's safety in my hall and my laptop's graphics card is just utterly pathetic...) at home so I won't be playing much until May. When May comes around though I'm going to be going on a Shogun 2 multiplayer marathon if anyone wants to join in on the action.

How do I figure out what my steam ID is? I always log in with my e-mail address...

Well, not that I play much anymore. Mostly Black Ops and occasionally TF2.

Do you know what your user id is? Cause you could always just try to manually find the page without logging in by putting your id in place of anyone's after the /id/ part. Otherwise I would just say login and check your account details to figure out your id.

To find your profile URL, just right click on your profile page in Steam and you can "Copy page URL".

wow, I am in exactly the same situation, so I feel you. Sucks that I can't play some 70% of my games well on this lappy, nor all of the newest ones.

I don't play TF2 as often as I used to, but I'd still love to jump in a game. Usually hang around the OCRemix servers, 206.217.135.91:27015 for the usual one (BLU) and 206.217.135.92:27015 for events/overflow/etc. (RED)

I remember that mod - it looked cool but I could never get it to run properly, and the few times it did, there were no servers online. But that was some years ago.

Personally I think it's great. Aesthetically pleasing, well designed. You don't die almost instantly like in CS so the learning curve isn't as steep, but it rewards the patient unlike TF and Unreal. The only issues are a few (fairly difficult to obtain) guns are a little bit overpowered, and the left lean is bugged so that you can lean out around the corner and remain invisible. But yeah I have no idea how to get it to work for some people. You need the original client version, the patch, and source sdk 06.

Oh, and I guess my other complaint is that even with a great soundtrack like this you'd just be handicapping yourself if you play while listening to the music.
