Collapse Pictures

Is there any way to use the collapse tags to get one picture to change into another?

The current code is specifically based on text, so the short answer is no.

There probably is a way to do it with with a new tag (which we'd call imgcollapse or something) but I did a very quick bit of fiddling and couldn't make it work. I'm not exactly the one to ask for this, though.

The problem getting it to work seems to be the [collapse=[img][/img]] tag where the first close bracket is made to apply to the collapse part and not the img part. Probably because it's the first closed bracket to come, instead of the second open one starting a new sequence. Maybe I'm just to used to calculus, with all their multiple brackets.

Because using quotation marks works.

In case it's not clear from the conversation, the syntax for using the collapse function with image tags is:

[collapse="[img][/img]"][img][/img][/collapse]

[noparse][/noparse] is a convenient tag we have.
