You can update from 2.0 to 3.0, right (as opposed to uninstalling and installing)? Do you think that that would also solve my issue that it is not automatically bringing me to the OS selection screen and defaulting to Windows?
hum :/ i don't know. First i installed remix 2.0 'cuz it's nonroot version.But it's useless LOL :v Then i saw remix 3.0 with preroot version and .... :v I hope DW doesn't ban this ....
I've just removed the remix 2.0 and installed the new one . Can we update it through PC ?
So basically, uninstall 2.0 manually, and then install 3.0?
Holy cow! It DOES work! Thank you so much!
For anyone else that interested. I installed this (64bit version if that matters)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/remi...0-201-t3345968
on USB hard drive. Launched Supersu (couldn't find one in system so downloaded it from pureapk), updated t, reloaded and clicked full unroot. Reloaded, deleted supersu from apps. Installed FGO and it got to downloading screen!

well it's my pleasure .Thank the guy who shared the video )))
Tested it and can confirm it works also.
Hum :/ i'm glad it works Hope DW won't ban this ._.
I'll try this after my laptop is returned from Dell.
It's also possible to play on emulators like VMware and VirtualBox. You need more RAM than dual-boot version, though.
No problems except infinitely long unrooting because i forgot to reload PC after supersu update.
Also, when it asked how i want to upgrade it i clicked 'normal', not 'TWRPsomething'.

hum :/ my friend had same problem too :/ and he still doesn't know how to fix it ._.
Teodor !
you downloaded the 3.0.202 64 bits ? (hacked version of remix)
or other?
- I downloaded that one, installed in a new partition (25GB)
- Once in remix, i looked for Super Su in the playstore, it says to "update", so i updated
then, it wanted me to install the binaries, tried to do it but dont worked.
so then i tried to full unroot i took to much time and suddenly super su closes.
rebooted & checked using root checker (now unrooted).
Then tried to uninstall SuperSu but i cant.. you can just disable it.. how can i delete superSu like you did?
Yes, it was hacked 3.0.202 64bit one.
Your problem is very common, but i couldn't replicate it, so i don't know how to fix it. I installed Remix 3 times, all were succesfull. (one in dual-boot and 2 in VMware)
Delete button was active, so i deleted supersu by clicking it...
That's what i exactly did in latest iteration.
I created VM in VMware. Specs are 1 CPU with two cores, 3GB of RAM, two HDD with max size of 10GB, without allocation.
Installed Windows XP in one of HDD of this VM.
Booted it, copied Remix image and exe files into VM. Installed Remix on another HDD. (at this point you should change guest OS into Linux)
Reloaded into Remix, it took about 3-4 minutes for the first time. Opened Start, scrolled down, opened supersu. Updated it with normal update. Reload. Open supersu and click 'full unroot'. Wait few minutes, if it takes more — reload and try again. After supersu window disappears, reload. Check if it's still in system. It shouldn't be.
Download and play FGO.
I have Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU and 8GB of RAM if that matters. Also i have Nokia 6303i so i'm not familiar enough with Android to help.

Vmware is good but i think the game runs more effectively on dual boot than Vmware :/ yeah.it's just my opinion .
About the Supersu problem,i still don't know how to fix it ._. Could u install on another PC ?
So you installed the Remix OS (USB drive), then downloaded and installed SuperSu from PureAPK. Did you restart between those two things, or before doing the "normal" update from within SuperSu? And then after you did the update, you unrooted, and once that was done, rebooted and FGO worked. Is that about right? Trying to get the order right, since I keep getting hung up on either the update (it keeps getting an error) or the unrooting (takes forever).
And how long was your "infinitely long" unroot?
Okay, just saw your other post. I'll try without loading a new version of SuperSu. It always shows up as "disable" rather than "delete", though, in the app list.
EDIT:
Okay, that was odd... Just reinstalled it on my laptop, and opened up the SuperSu for the first time and it said it's not rooted... I'm just going to try on a different computer... Maybe the UEFI on my laptop is messing with it.

I have seen Teodor's post on reddit ~~ you guys should look for it
No, i didn't. I rebooted after 'normal' supersu update. Then 'full unroot'. Infinitely long unroot probably lasts for eternity. I waited only few minutes and rebooted PC/VM. Then i tried to unroot again. It works and supersu windows disappears. Reboot. In one case after this step you can't even find supersu, in another i had to delete it from settings->apps. 'Delete' button was active.Did you restart between those two things, or before doing the "normal" update from within SuperSu?
This guy right here got it working the same way i did.
Well... Yeah, but it's more comfortable to sit in main OS. At least for me.Vmware is good but i think the game runs more effectively on dual boot than Vmware
