Can you Swim?

i loved the beach but for the last three years ive hated the beach as I can;t find my way back to the towels by myself as my eyesight is so bad, im hopefully getting corrective surgery

I like the beach but nobody goes out far enough to swim much because the water here is hideous and brown and you can't see what's in the water

Also the occasional flesh eating bacteria outbreak

i understand that, it just means if they are in deep water they can't stay in same place or else they start waddling badly and need to move agan or they sink

I'm not particularly amazing at it, but after having had to do a test involving wearing a flight suit and boots and swimming 1 mile without stopping at any point using only half-stroke, breaststroke, or "American crawl" which is basically what the military calls the freestyle stroke olympic swimmers use, I'd say I'm at least above average.

I was a good swimmer until that time I nearly drowned myself through sheer stubbornness. Since then I've barely swam.

I've been on a swim team and worked as a lifeguard in the past.

Since I moved to Missouri I've definitely fallen off in terms of any sort of skill though, so I'll settle for "I can"
