But what of it? It must be like yesterday for you, but it happened ten years ago for me. Are you going to bring up a fight that has already ended?"

y know, when put like that
it actually felt to be a pretty damn small/irrelevant ones
Also most of them could just be Kirei lying through his teeth because he doesn't want anyone to know that Ultra-Satan was living in the Grail.
Kiritsugu also spoke to Saber more than three times, even if he was being a dick and doing so indirectly. Saber met Ilya, though FHA tried to cover for that later. Irisviel existed and was taken along rather than being left behind.
Saber didn't realize that she was Ilya and thought she was a generic Einzbern homunculus. Because she hadn't grown, I think.
Saber so racist, thinks all Homunculi look the same.

That might be the inspiration for Kayneth's death, but the details are completely different."And Kiritsugu answered their trust.
Kiritsugu defeated many Masters in the previous Holy Grail War. I am the only one who survived after fighting him. Everyone else was killed for sure.
He was precise, careful, brutal, and cruel. He showed no pity for his enemies. Once the decision was made, he killed. He killed a Servant, let the Master beg for help while crawling on the floor, and ruthlessly shot him in the head. He showed no emotion even after killing. Neither the supremacy of his strength nor guilt in killing the weak."

Saber was nowhere near Kiritsugu or Kotomine when their last fight happened in Zero, at best she should only be able to infer that Kiritsugu killed him."…What is a Master from the last war doing here? I remember that Kiritsugu shot and killed you."
This is completely different from what happened in Zero."Certainly. When I abandoned my rights as a Master and raised my hands, he shot me from the back. If I did not have God's divine protection, I would have died then.
Yesss some inconsistensies.... It's hard b being consistent when you're writing other writer's world
Spoiler:
Wandering on internet
Yeah, Kirei talks about Kiritsugu like some beast, but in zero he just Killed Kayneth and Oryu, and with the second, who would know it was him, it was a team up of everyone against Caster . There is always the chance of Kirei liying, tought, we know he is not the most faithful one ñ
Anyways, its been a while since i played hollow , so dont remember every scee, specially the most relaxed ones, someonet Thell me If illyas mother ever mentioned .

Technically what the quote says is that everyone who fought Kiritsugu himself died, not necessarily everyone who fought his Servant or was in the same War as him. "Everyone who fought him died" does not necessarily equate to "he killed everybody in the War". I haven't watched Zero, but did Kiritsugu go mano-a-mano against Tokiomi, Waver or Kariya like he did Kayneth?

And "defeated many Masters" part could just mean that he ultimately got the Grail (sort of), thereby "defeating" the aspirations of all the other Masters who tried to attain it.
Yeah, Saber defeated Lancelot but it was a fair fight, and i dont think their masters faced each other ever. As for Rider and Waver, he never cared so much about them
Do you have good points, but Zero Kiritsugu, besides Kayneth death, sounds whitewashed compared to what the VN implied.
Agai, can someone thell me if Iri is mentioned in HA, even if is not by name, but just as Illyas mom
