She did leave Illya to behind to be tortured by her family for her own failure though. Plus she kinda failed on keep her from becoming the grail since that happens in UBW and HF (sort of).

I mean, she's still the best parent by a fucking mile, and all her faults come from her naivete and optimism, but they still happen. Still, her closest competition seems to come from Risei "I Never Noticed My Son Is Super Evil" Kotomine, and I'll take optimism over incompetence any day.
