Some of them kinda are filler though. I don't want filler skills, but I would rather DW not pretend the ones that are filler are anything but. I would prefer a clear acknowledgement as to when skills actually don't do shit lore wise.That way we wouldn't have stuff like thrice setting sun on Nero's personal skills when its never been there before, etc while at the same time acknowledging that these aren't just filler.
Although if the skills can tie in to the character's lore without messing up gameplay too much, I'm all for that.
I also wish NPs as a skill was a more common practice if the character shouldn't have enough skills, but I guess that has to be sacrificed for gameplay because too many NPs would end up being redundant with skills if they functioned in a way that made sense. For instance, if Emiya had Rho Aias it would have to give him invincibility, which wouldn't be nearly as useful as Projection.

Arthur does have some value for farming since he can charge his NP, but he seriously needs a skill or NP boost. I'd guess that'll be right before a Prototype event if Arthur ever does get one, although I have no idea how far off a Prototype event would be.
I think they should clarify and utilize the 3rd ascension more for those new 3rd skills cuz servants get those skills upon 3rd acension anyway. Tamamo's Fox Wedding can easily be attributed to 3 tails -> unlocking more power that you've never seen b4 in Extra games, and since it was inspired by her seeing Suzuka's sword rain NP it has basis. Musashi's 3rd ascension is basically the state where she mastered her skills as shown in Shimousa and I think it's pretty cool. So far the 2 Foreigner servants utilized the 3rd ascension to explain their abilities extremely well, hopefully they will do it more often.

But it's not all cases are as clear cut as that, like Mordred getting her Armor as a skin the moment she takes it off.
Tho yeah tying in 3rd Acensions more into lore would be more appreciated.

Among other things about the early interludes, I really hate how so many of them end with a fight against a shadow version of the servant that represents their dark side/regret/whatever. It's a decent premise but it was so overused.
Well, for chaotic evil aligned Servants, such as Carmilla or Kiyohime, they're often their own worst enemies.
The fact that Hector doesn't have a shining helmet In any of his ascension bothers me, it's his most famous epithet after all and they even reference it a few times in the game also but he has no helmet. His bond CE gives a design to his helmet so at least we get that much still I'd want to see him actually wearing it one day tho.

Though it does open up the chance to crack crude jokes about him having a luminous foreskin or something.
Now that's the kind of thinking we need to make T-M great again.
