Like Arashi said. Some of things in Gil's treasury was pasted literally, others only the idea was pasted on. Durindana was literally, but both it and Durandal has accumulated enough differences to be seperate. Durandal lost the spear form, which was what was famed when when he had it, but then it was reforged with holy relics to supplement it. Looking at it that way, it in spear form should be when it's at it's sharpest where you combine the blade with the throw(a rocket powered throw... don't know why... animation update pls to make it clearer) but Durandal with the relics has a better slash attacks since they are boosting the very sharp sword. Anyway what I want to see is Hektor actually using his spear befitting of something that can piece anything in the world, or something like that.
