Powerlevel threads, aside of the aforementioned Alcides.

I do agree that his third NP isn't to my liking, but it may be more conceptually interesting than I'm giving it credit.
So does Kiritsugu and he's edgy too.
E) To go into more detail now that I'm at a computer, I don't mind Alkeides. His nature, his position in the war, and narrative bother me, but I can push that aide cause it's whatever. When I say he's edgy I don't mean it as an insult, I'm just taking a jibe at his character because that specific nature of him is literally low-hanging fruit for fun pickings.
I adore Shirou, but I'll forever call him an idiot cause that's what he is. There's a narrative reason that fits in with Fate's theme yes, but he's still an idiot.

Strike me down when I say it isn't really fair to call Shirou an idiot. Wasn't the point of his character that his priorities and sense are reversed compared to other people? He doesn't THINK like us, but we try to apply a human mindset to him, THEN he looks stupid.
"us"

Machines do not lose their worth when a newer model appears.
Their worth (life) ends when humans can no longer bear that purity.
Well, a human being who has no value towards his life, and is so crazy he carries a Reality Marble, which humans CAN'T carry.

Yeah sure, Shirou is known for making a few boneheaded decisions here and there, but it's not his fault his sense of self was erased, and adopted his father's ideal to continue existing.

You mean the human? A machine can wear out, but hey, even machines can wave dreams.
And doesn't Avalon make him immortal?
Okay, I admit, he can be as dense as a sword sometimes.
