I agree, being a boring character in FSN is far more difficult than being a boring character in FGO.

TBH many TM characters are like that.
It's just that, for those featuring in comparatively story-light media, it's easier to notice.
don't quote me on this
Yeah but the problem is when their one aspect isn't interesting or explored enough, their roles in the stories they appear are boring, and their designs are bad. There's very little to like in them.
Rider Medusa is pretty boring
but like Heroic Spirit Medusa is pretty interesting. GO actually did a good job for her characterwise

Don't really see how that's true.
Hollow only gave more explanations for things that were hinted in HF.
It was obvious that outside of Sakura, she had a burden she was carrying as well, otherwise the two wouldn't have contracted in the first place.
Regardless of how cold she seemed, and Shirou notes this as well, she was a clumsy person.
The "I am a monster" parts only really enforces her behavior then. She isn't human, she has a different mindset than the other servants, who are all once or part human.
I could go on, but she pretty much was stuck on Sakura for her own reasons and projected quite a lot of stuff. A lot of which was her own anger with humans and regret over her actions.
That is why I wondered why people thought "Sakura ruined her" or "without Sakura, she would be great", and didn't look into the "why".
It's not like she is even totally obedient to Sakura, she just likes her and feels that they an empathetic connection, they had that great scene with Avenger that explained why even. I could understand being annoyed if she always obeyed Sakura no matter what, but that isn't the case.
Ironically, despite her appearance, she is a wildcard with Sakura. She is more obedient with Shinji than with the master she likes!
That is why I tilt my head when people say "Medusa is attached to Sakura's butt" like she licks Sakura's boots and obeys all her orders, she snapped the guy she like's neck and headshotted him in front of her fcs.
"An ideal is only an ideal after all. As long as you embrace that ideal, the friction with reality will continue to increase. So you will someday face reality and will have to pay for your compromises"
A female character whose flaw is being endearingly clumsy... groundbreakingRegardless of how cold she seemed, and Shirou notes this as well, she was a clumsy person.
She's tall.

To a Japanese person that's ginormous for a woman
Localizationing stuff
Maybe everyone else is just tiny
Remember that she's probably judging based on her sisters.
Well no, that's the thing, in FSN when you've got comparison she's tall because, you know, everyone else is a shorty
And the writers, being Japanese, are going to present it that way, because, you know, she's tall to them
Not even getting into who knows how tall average ancient Greeks were
Localizationing stuff
And thus lolis were the ideal beauty for Greeks
what does that make Artemis
I'm sure she can fit at least two lolis in her generous tracts of land
double the beauty?
