Rolling Gacha is so nouveau-fandom, in my day we had to pay 300,000 JPY for our waifus and wait a month for them to be shipped overseas and released from customs and hope they arrived in one piece.

From what I know they were recruiting more people and yeah probably a lot of people are just maintaining servers and I'm sure with the playerbase the servers cost a lot, the cost there of course being a non issue since the only reasons servers cost a lot is because they have enough players to make that back a hundredfold. Though I feel like Left's point stands reasonably well because in relation to the amount of money made the amount of effort necessary for a gacha game is low and I think there is a point to make about willfully rewarding low-effort things incentivizing the company not to even see a reason to do more.

Again not directly talking about writing since that is highly subjective, but more things that can be objectively rated. This is overall a problem with gacha games and the rng-style monetization system.

Which is one potentially good thing to come out of GO. The NA version is actually turning a very high profit so there's some hope for official translations.

This only makes sense if the specific message you want to send is that you want more GO, because from their POV the amount of people who are buying quartz on GO who are just doing it to support TM for their past works are statistically irrelevant and that money is added to the pool which is used to determine how much more GO is worth doing. In fact buying more official products you can't read is precisely what you should do if you want more products like those.

If I go by your wording, technically there is always "hope" for official translations, but I wouldn't say high profits in GO are very likely to increase translations in anything than other GO related things.
