H/A is only good for the 20% of the time that Nasu is writing, and the rest is meaningless, tropey, ghostwritten fluff that manages to introduce and exaggerate several of the worst character traits in the FSN cast while saying and doing nothing else of value. Granted, Kagetsu Tohya did the same thing, but at least it was engaging from start to finish. So H/A is a fifth of a good VN and the rest is decidedly mediocre to the point where I dropped it rather than slog through to the end.

EXTRA actually has a decent story, but the gameplay loop is so boring that it almost doesn't matter. I don't think I made it past week 4. In terms of character design I actually like the space suit aesthetic. Wada is a good artist and the game achieves a unified design aesthetic that can match FSN. Too bad the actual game part sucks ass.

You know, I always thought it was the dwarf Cleric from Shadows over Mystara, but it turns out that one was improbably blond.

The dwarves from SoM were just Dwarfs. Remember that in OD&D we didn't have races as separate categories yet. Even if the game were based off AD&D, he'd be a Fighter, not a Cleric.

I've always liked EXTRA more than most people; I wonder if it's because I just watched an LP of it instead of actually playing. I never had to deal with the endless grinding outside of skipping ahead when I got bored. Instead I looked forward to the interactions with Leo and Julius.

Some characters with loli designs have plenty of reasons to be liked outside of the sexual so idk man. Like Illya, or Saber.

Of course if you just look at horny FGO designs there's not gonna be a whole lot there but to act like there's literally no way you're gonna like a character that the author decided has to have a loli body type is kinda weird and makes me think maybe the problem is more on your end.
