    Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire

    So, IT BEGINS.. On November 21st, 2014.










    Trailers:






    As for the versions name, I believe it's because Omega has as a metaphor to the pinnacle of evolution (The man appeared in Earth). Alpha is associated with creation (life came from the sea). Both combined mean the divine eternity. Probably a metaphor used to symbolize the eternal conflict between Earth and Ocean. In the case among the "gods" Groudon and Kyogre.

    If we had a "third version" it could be like Gamma Emerald. It symbolizes longevity. In Rayquaza's Pokedex says it has hundreds of millions of years and the symbol on his head looks like a Y.

    I like how Omega Groudon and Alpha Kyogre look like you see some of their innards. Like how Omega Groudon has molten lava for muscles while some of Kyogre's organs are visible like in deep sea fish.

    Actually, Ruby/Sapphire remake is what most fans wanted, and Nintendo was hiding this until today. I was fed up with reading "Hoenn confirmed" all the time.
    I didn't like those versions back then (and started to dislike more when I played Emerald and found out that that Zigzagoon attacking the professor in the beginning was shiny and I couldn't catch it) , but I'll give a chance to the remakes
