I was always a fan of the 3 mana 3/2 (or 2/3) who gains +1/+1 and the Sorcery on evolve approach, myself.
You have to cut both the Goblins and, what's actually a huge deal, Elf Child which was an excellent early board control tool. Not having one-drops hits you right where it hurts which is your midgame transition with Ancient Elf. As you know 1drops are actually waaaay higher impact in Forest than they are in anything else so this actually weakens the deck overall to the point that Tempo Forest with the roach shell might be the new way to go, who knows.

Well I'm glad fighting off all the Dariacrafts will be easier now. Goblin Mage is a slight bummer though, it's been great for hurrying up my forestcraft missions.

That happened to me. 15 turns in after the AI (blatantly teaching) threw three revelations one after the other, it proceeded to throw down a 19/19 Runeblade Summoner and then a Laura to oneshot me to hell.
It was both hilarious and maddening.
