Ok, so Path to Purgatory is a neutral amulet card (amulets are cards that have a continuous effect when played and take up a slot on the playing board) that only activates when you have 30 shadows (shadows are cards in the graveyard aka used up spells, defeated followers, or discarded cards). Once activated it will continue to deal 6 damage to all enemies at the end of your turn.

Normally this condition would be incredibly hard to accomplish since that would require you to kill 75% of your deck just to reach the shadow goal.

Not for this bitch. Forestcraft has a bunch of cards that put "Fairies"(1 cost 1/1 followers) into your hand which effectively grant you an additional source of shadows aside from your deck. Combined with another card called "Altered Fate" (Discards your entire hand and draws the same number of cards that were discarded) and you have an unstoppable pain engine.

Is rerolling that important?

I've already played some story missions on steam and while i didn't roll a single pack i'm really not in the mood to enter rerolling hell again.

You can craft any legendary you want but they cost you a lot of vials so if you feel like doing it do it.

Especially considering that with a single leg you don't really have that big of a chunk done of a competitive deck when some of them require to be run as 3-ofs.

Literally any shit deck will do when you're just starting out. Rerolling is only meant to give your account a foothold that you can build off of in the future when you actually want to get competitive.

1. How is Rarity determined? Bronze, Silver, Gold and Rainbow for Legendary? I got an Odin and Sun Oracle Pascale as my rainbows
2. How much low cost cards you usually put in?
3. Who is a beginner leader to use? Fairy Girl?

2. Depends on the deck
3. Swordcraft is relatively simple mechanics wise and actually has a competitive deck that's incredibly cheap to craft. The other factions require at least a modicum of knowledge about match ups and tempo play in order to be efficient. As you play the game you'll probably gravitate towards other factions, but for newbies i recommend Swordcraft.

Also do the Swordcraft story mission to get banners and fencer cards.
Banner sword decks are the easiest and cheapest to run for beginners. You'll win a majority of your ranked games as a beginner with banner decks.

So is there any way to get 2800 Rupies for that Bahamut Leader Set as a F2P? How often do they give pack tickets so I can save up Rupies?

do your dailies and you can get in like 3 weeks, give or take

If you beat the AI practice bots on the highest difficulty you get a large amount of rupies as a reward.

What exactly does re-rolling involve? If it's not too much of a pain I might do it to get something good.

Reinstalll the game, wait for the download to complete, skip the tutorials, do one story quest, claim all the rewards, roll away, rinse and repeat if not satisfactory.

second question: is this good? I can see some of the advantages over Hearthstone from what I have seen online, but I'm not too keen on building a collection from scratch.

The evolve mechanic is definitely interesting, but looks like it could be really frustrating to play with.
