Look, the throne mix legend and historic facts to create the HS. Moon is a unique case where what normally cannot happen: separating legend side and historical side of a HS into two which results in two extreme side rejecting each other.
What about Charlesmagne? I'm a bit disappointed that Charles's fortress is inferior to Karl's. But I'm still curious about the abilities of Charles Patricius, maybe it gets close to the level of the Hanging Gardens.
Nope. Heroic spirits born from fiction and hero of fiction are different things. Heroic spirit being born from fiction requires a specific reason to be on the throne, such as Nursery Rhyme was able to become a fictional heroic spirit of children due to being the base of children stories, a general term for children picture book. That's how eventhough she is a fictional thing and not a legit heroic spirit, she's still in there as a fictional heroic spirit.
Heroic spirit Sasaki Kojirou otoh doesn't exist on the throne. However the legends and rumors about this person exist in there. You request a summoning from the throne to summon Kojirou, but oh shit Kojirou doesn't exist at all and we don't even have his fictional version wtf do we do???. Easy, grail picked out some random wraith who just happened to have close abilities to "what was described in the legend of Kojirou" as a stand in. That's why you get a fucking farmer in the first place. If the fictional Kojirou existed on the throne then you will get the fabricated version already. It is because there's nothing in there that you got a no name stand in who has zero relation to Kojirou (cuz this dude is not real) in the first place, unlike Angra case where you actually have a dude demonized tie in to Angra and got summoned through that connection.
And don't try to dismiss others with offhand comments implying if ppl don't think the same as your ridiculous lvl of delusion then they are denial. You yourself are in denial my dude.

Tiny? I think not. It looks pretty big.
And it's listed as one of Charles's NP's, so it's not decoration. I am hopeful in the destructive and defensive capacity of the Fortress, it is the first time that we see a Saber with such thing.
And as for Karl, his profile seems exaggerated.
I didn't mean to upset you that much, it was a rhetorical overexaggeration. Also I'm not gonna bother with your bullshit denial any further, let's return this thread to Extella Link, kay?
My answer is here btw.

That is called being an ass. Don't ever do that. But alas this is the internet.
Actually the mech fighting that group is less impressive upon reflection as 3 of them had divinity. Holy Emperor is the same rank as Tenka Fubu so I'm inclined to think that would've made a big difference.
Tenka Fubu is also a buff.
Tenku Fubu is just a buff, it's the reality marble that changes Nobu's powers.
I'm just saying the mech might not be a teambuster for non-divine Servants. Though it remains to be seen if Holy Emperor is a flat increase or if it varies depending on rank of divinity.
You could argue that Big Chuck is an emperor, by the definition of empire as 'kingdom that conquers and absorbs other kingdoms and territories'.
Anyway I figure that Karl's castle is stronger because he's the big king aspect of the HS rather than the adventury knight. More authority. Giant robot authority.

I'd also argue re Holy King vs Tenka Fubu that Charlemagne has more clout as a historical figure than Nobunaga. Older and had a bigger impact across a wider area.
I really don't care about all the discussion that's going on because fictional Charles makes them both more interesting and even if it didn't, I really don't care if they ""actually existed"" as long as they're good characters and creative servants.
This inferiority complex with the Round Table just because they decided to explore both groups differently in Fate.
The monolith remains the only thing I don't like about this entire situation, fictional Charles is fine.
From what I understand, the monolith brainwashing only works in Moon Cell since it is a virus attaching itself to victims made from data. In reality, it just gives Karl the idea to stop fooling around and begin conquest for the greater good in earnest. He did that in real life Nasuverse via Charisma and realpolitik.
