My psychological perception of the flavor is that it all tastes the same because it's the same chemical compounds mixed in the same ratios.

I don't have a bag and only ever drank soda when at home so this has never been an issue

I always just assumed the difference between drinking out of a bottle/cup/can boiled down to the medium of the container (metal, glass, plastic, paper) and differences in their heat conductivity making the perceived temperature feel different? As in, I feel like the drink's always colder when drunk out of a can than when drunk out of a paper cup, but idk if that's just me.

and also, instead of sofa, you should have coffee in the mug
Personally it all tastes the same but I prefer bottles for portability and huge 72 oz fountain drinks for when you need the exam energy.
It's how we buy our soft drinks in Canada; there are no "cans" or "bottles." Just bags of Coke.
