No, but. The reason I thought about this was that I have tried to cut back on my overall regular soda consumption, but it's about to be very cold and I'm unlikely to leave the house for a few days because no need. So I went to the store and bought some Coke and Dr. Pepper in 16oz bottles and they both just... smell so nice when opened? In a way that I don't remember from other sources of the same stuff.

It depends on what you want done. If you want a single quick portable drink, a bottle. If you want a large continuous supply, large bottle. If you want a bunch of weird flavours that aren't normally on sale, fountain. If you want a mixer for your alcohol, cans.

Same, it tastes the same as it does from anything else folks get over it.
Also when I do drink soda I only drink those little 8 ounce cans because any more than that is disgusting. And one of those can pretty much last me a few hours. People who drink that shit like water are gross.
Yeah the can thing was more from having it around than any actual preference. And I pretty much just drink water and the occasional holiday related drink now so eh.
Every soda I've ever tasted left an awful aftertaste that stopped me from drinking much of it.
