While I did suspect something was up between all the poison/incense in the air and how relatively vacant the masters' expressions were, again, I don't think the situation was spelled out so as to make me think they're like total zombies, either. Even through that scene, I still imagined they had some sense of autonomy-- IIRC, it was Karna's Master (whoever that is) who sent Karna to Shirou towards the end of the second episode, right.

Not my place to tell you what to think.
I mean they didnt even move. Its clear to me they are indefinitely out of the picture based on that scene alone. Even if i dont exactly know what happened, end result is clear af.

They are expected to wake up sometime. Semi wants to kill them for good but Karna guards his master (and by extension others) waiting for him to wake up. I dont exactly know what happens to them in vol 5.

Good thing every computer that I had at my work is monitored remotely and thus can't access streaming sites.

nah, in the LN shirou and the red masters converse, with shirou reporting bullshit to them of how the war goes and slowly making them willling to give up their CS

in the anime its just them being silent in a room with purple fog with shirou saying karna is otw to ruler
