When people counter your point by indicating that his sample size of work in Fate is enough ,you tell people but "FGO is irrelevant in this conversation because I haven't played it"

Unless they haven't read said stuff, not really. If they haven't, they didn't state it. I DID state that I haven't read GO. It's not about being relevant. It's about the GO stuff serving no purpose because I can't judge it and thus I can't say if I agree or disagree with people

Apo anime? Since this is the Apo anime thread, that's the only thing it's safe to assume everyone is familiar with. I will say as an action show, it's entertaining, so it's good. But it could go further and I couldn't care much about Fran's death, to be honest.

The first two anime (NO TSUKIHIME ANIME) I dropped was actually Sacred Seven and I watched Chaos;Head too until the end...

Actually yes.
Specially given that you defend ML, which means you could get through Extra, whict to me was extremely boring and I had to drop it.
I however loved Chaos;Head and think it's a great VN. There are some flaws, but it's far from mediocre. Mediocre is ML Extra

You also said Chaos;Head was bad. So our views of what's good and bad are too different. Thus proving what's good and bad is subjective and not as objective as some people here would like to believe to justify their witch hunts of Higashide and Sakurai

Weren't you originally saying that people needed to read his non Fate stuff before they criticized his writing? I've also read Princess Waltz, which I found really bland. I don't know how involved he was in that since the tone is nothing like Ayakashibito or Apo but it does suffer from rather weak characters and plotting. I mean, I don't mind if you personally like his writing, but it sounds to me like you're moving the goalposts.

And? I'm not gonna change my opinion even if a thousand people have a different opinion. Sorry. And I can't speak for his GO work because I refuse to play it or read script translations. I'll limit myself to random spoilers and servant pages from TVtropes and watching Servant animations on Youtube.

Why do you refuse to read it? Camelot, Babylon, Salomon, Shinjuku and SE.RA.PH at least are really good. If you're upset about it being a cash grab then just don't pay for any quartz. Or read the story and don't play the game at all. I bet by this point the early chapters are out in English even on Youtube.

1) Phone too shit to play it
2) I fear reading translations might not be the same as playing it with the music and all that stuff that gets lost when reading translations online
3) Watching a Youtube video makes me depend on whenever the guy decides to advance the text, rather than advancing it myself at my own pace
