Agreed. I was hoping it would look amazing, but it looks like shit. I mean, it's not like we don't have actual Dead Apostles in the same universe that look more human than THAT thing with the red eyes and huge as fuck ears. <_<

I do enjoy Apo more than Zero. We can have complaints with the adaptations, but that's on the studio's side.

I don't like cartoon Vlad but I can honestly see the reason behind it sincs it fits with popular media's image of Dracula. Sad but true.

I honestly think they've done fine up until like, episode 9, or maybe 10.

Then it just felt like they're starting to burn out, 11 had great moments though. The stakes going CGI was not really my taste, but whatever.

On this episode though, they've technically nailed the animation really well with the fight scenes and all, but during the exorcism scene, I just felt like it could have used more effort, like what was going through Darnic's head as he was being burned away, or give the whole thing better framing.

Instead it just felt, lazy? Even the reveal of Shirou's true identity and what he was didn't hammer in a pointed impact. It was just...so empty.

tbh I was expecting something more like the DAA we already know, but yeah you're right. Maybe my expectations were misplaced, maybe casuals viewers will like it because he indeed looks like your average portrayal of a vampire.

Not only is it an insult to his entire being, it doesn't even look good.
