Nah I want to get the apo story without having to read the books.

Honestly Apoc was pretty readable. More so than actual Fate/Stay Night tbh.

I still prefer Stay Night but Christ there was a lot of time describing cooking in that LN

I think it's more 'it's easy to turn it into an anime' than 'it's easier to introduce to newcomers'.

Everytime Vlad did a thing i would always think "Man, this would look great animated" so i'm glad this is a thing

Lots of action, some slapstick, pretty straightforward motivations, no complicated wish-granting-device-actually-not-wish-granting, not a lot of cooking or gardening or raping of maids to slow things down

Also the not having characters you know thing would actually be a positive to a lot of first time viewers if you really want to go on the ease of introduction to newbies

I'm glad it's finally happening.
Type-Moon had me way to used to Ufotable so I can't feel 100% satisfied, but this is still very good.

Astolfo looks pretty serious on the website's background, so that's a very good first impression they're striking at least.
And most characters look pretty nice on it.

I can only hope they don't rush it. 2 seasons at least would be nice.
