But yeah it was hella rushed. It was fine in the novel because it was a skirmish and I get that, but it could have afforded to be just a bit more of a fight in the anime I think.

Sieg's only good scene was ruined. Other scenes were just intermissions to get from one scene to another, so no comment.
Fran's uber cute. The cutest. Can we just stop pretending there's anything more important than her cute moans and have A-1 just animate SoL with Fran? No? This timeline sucks.
Karna vs Siegfried... hm. The initial clash (both in the ambush and after their mutual introductions) looked stupid with excessive slow-mo. As for 35 seconds of action after the flashback, it looked much better than in the PV due to not being cut to hell. The sound effects are still fucked up, but most of the action is nicely executed aside from Siegfried jumping into the air for a juggling combo only to get beamed DBZ-style. That looked janky.
Mo-san and Go Lion get props for being themselves.
That's about it.

Yeah, I wish they would do longer cuts. It looks similar to the america trailer cus the same animators are working as the action directors btw

Well after watching it a bunch of times, the fight had pretty nice movement and motion for how short is was. Also it having no music so you can hear Siegfried's thoughts better was a nice touch.
