Disappoint Your Parents

Raised in a strictly Catholic family - now an atheist.

Mine aren't Catholic but took this suprisingly well

Just your good old European religious hardline nationalists, with a pinch of mother seeingher children ( mostly ) me to be nothing but trophies to wave in front of friends and family. Also is not privy to secrets of fulfilling emotional needs of her offspring.

Forgot how I was forced/bullied into hiding my religion from the rest of the family because "They wouldn't understand/etc."
Still not comfortable sharing/talking about it.
My parents & I don't really talk so they have no idea about my beliefs, etc. & I'm not really inclined to share.
