We have no qualms in having different standards of measurements when it comes to casual divulging of information unless documents specifies the type of measurement that will be taken, for example, annual physical examinations and/or passport information.
We were taught both English and Metric measurements in our school. Some of the documents in our country require English standards while other documents require metric standards.
