Also, quantum immortality is seriously fucking horrifying when you think of the repercussions of it (living forever with your body and mind perpetually degrading, but unable to ever truly die). I used to really worry about that possibility back in my younger and more neurotic years (heck, the entire Many-Worlds branch of QM was pretty much the bane of my existence for a while... it's a long story).
Thankfully I came around to the fact that the argument is mostly just sophistry relying on a misinterpretation of MW physics. Worlds are constantly branching off from each other, but it's a mistake to think that you are in some spiritual sense jumping around between them.
You (this particular instance which calls itself "you") only exist in the world you're in and when you die, that's it, even if another world-line exists where you're alive and peachy. For the purposes of practical decision-making, a Many-Worlds "universe" is identical to that of classical mechanics, or standard QM. In other words, It all adds up to normality.
