Lol Nino tho, one shotting 5* Sharena, Abel, Linde, and Robin.
Hell she even hit Tiki quite hard.
I hate the split map still. Had to sacrifice a unit everytime.

Switched out Takumi for Eirika. Her buffs are really nice
Managed to get 4560 which is pretty good i guess. For now I'll just stop arena and go leveling my newly promoted to 5 star Effie
We'll see how far this level 20 something 3-star Narcian can get me.

Nope. You can only determine it based on their lv 1 and lv 40 stats.

Ranking up also increases all their stats. Like a 4* will naturally outclass a 3*, even without skills.
Man, this game makes me love Nino all over again. I thought I'd be having trouble if I replace Robin with her and Lyn with Eirika to act as a buffer along with Sharena, but it turns out to be really fun. Just hope I'll never have to face Tharja.

He's only in his 20s anyway. If stats were that important to his viability, I'd level him up more to begin with.
New bonuses are dumb. I'm not sure I want to bother leveling Owain just for this
I'm not quite sure who I want to 5*. I was thinking about Robin but he's already level 35, and I'm not sure if I want to erase all that effort

What about Eliwood? With Durandal his attack skyrockets, even if he's a bit squishy.

Go for Nowi and Effie. Great stats stick in arena and all around great tank
Well I just realized my Nowi is +def+res/-atk-spd
Robin is +atk/-def
Effie is pretty great, I recommend her

olivia's pretty great in arena but the only real reason to 5* her is for higher stat total in arena
robin's a good pick
nowi would be too but -atk -spd is pretty unfortunate (can you post an image of her 5* lvl 1 stats btw? wanna show someone double boons do exist)
a +atk -notSpeed tharja has potential if you like playing that kind of team though nino's better
alternatively you can roll a bunch of 3*s and spend 2k feathers each and make a 4*+10, which is generally slightly lower atk but higher other stats. (im kidding this is not a serious suggestion)
also, I only just noticed, but some characters get +/-4 instead of 3 from certain boon/bane stats
