Well, I'd assume she's really sort of fucked up in both ways, depending on whether or not the corruption might still be lingering in her. I doubt it, though, since by now Sakura's contract has been broken, so Saber would also be pretty clean unless the shadow's corruption ran deeper.
well judging from Excalibur you would expect saber to be free of the physical effects of the process of blackening, (snazzy goth armor notwithstanding) but its worth noting, there is no telling what she may or may not have gotten used to while her alignment was reoriented.

Archer and Saber are already a lot easier to write than Archer and Sakura were.
Sakura in general, I've found, tends to be a bit of a hard character to write.

course elf had some extra trouble because Rider kept intruding in her mind, IIRC, in cherry blossoms.
Well, she's a bit like Rin in that respect. She has a lot of different layers to her, and a rather contradictory personality. Plus, she's a character who there is a lot of debate over, and also one who polarises opinion.
I had a hard time characterizing a traumatized Sakura in my most recent chapter of my fic...if I didn't like her so much I am sure that I would have just skimmed over some of it to save myself the mental anguish.

I am trying, and by traumatized...I mean more so than before, she has almost a decade of more torture than the regular Sakura.

Not that I think it would alter much, TBH. By the time of FSN, she's already totally broken. Other than losing Shirou, I don't think it could get any worse. And, what fic is this, again?

They are trying, and remember the beginning of my fic starts in 2009 and they have yet to find Sakura. So there is a lot of time for Zouken to do all kinds of unsavory things to her.
Fate/ Machina VARDANT is the fic.
Actually, I find Rin rather easy to handle overall, even if her more emotional scenes are a bit of a challenge. Sakura is the one I'm always worrying about when it comes to writing, between the two of them.

She has vanished, but is still in Zouken's clutches. She will be free of him eventually but for now she is stuck.
I wonder what part of my fic implied that she was free, I may need to fix that...
