Also, the emperor seems to be a muscle bounded beast who manhandled Jing Ke easily. Qin was described as a lively country but too orderly since there is no evil in it.

Also, the emperor is descrbed to be powered by meat sacks and has rainbow eyes, so people are spectaculating he is either a pillar or imprisoning a pillar to provide him with power. The reason why he send people out to look for the elixir is due to the poison damaging his immortality which resulted in his eventual death.

There are stupid people around the world who likes to do stupid things. People are under the false believe that whatever they need not be responsible for their actions. Heck, even Japanese otakus send blades to manga writers for killing off their favorite characters or unhappy with how the story is going on.

I think the idea is pretty cool, though I can understand why some Chinese gets offended at this.

The simple summary is Jing Ke bought Hydra Posion to coat her weapon to assassinate Ying Zhens (complain 1: Higashide didn't bother to do research to realize that Chinese Shan Hai Jing also has a same creature with same properties). She described Qin as a lively but mechanically orderly country which is unnerving. Ying Zheng is described to be a muscular man with dragon teeth, living tumors at his back giving him energy and powerful presence (complain 2: First Emperor of Qin being either a puppet for Demon Pillar or is one himself, maybe even a construct by Lu Buwei).

They are mostly mad at the demonizing of the emperor and the Qin dynasty and the Chinese culture, that's all. As for the salt river interview, fanatics in different countries overreacted anyway.
