Here you can check how many points you are worth and how many points are some NPCs worth. If the character you are looking for isn't here, the score must either be found out IC (as is the case with some teachers taking part in the tournament) or the character is simply too new to be graded, making them as good as a faceless mook! It just makes people more interested in you, lenient towards your mistakes and willing to help out. Because you are the new student, everyone symphathizes with how hard that must be, even faculty members. Naturally, this depends on the kind of character, as it's just not magic. Bullies might be drawn towards you. So, in Persona Game terms, you can go start S.links with people that would otherwise require certain requirements to be met first, get at least a single ♪ on every answer and be able to pick 'needs courage' options from the get go.
In general terms, everyone will get plot hooks, so don't expect extraordinary meetings when you walk around just because you have BfZ. But if you find someone you like, it's likely that you'll be able to progress through their link in a smoother and deeper way, and in less time than the average person.
