some scenes still have 2 or 3 updates left, but for those who have been up to date, your scenes should be wrapping up within the next few exchanges.

After that, you'll enter free phase, where several offscreen actions become available, reflecting your normal school life until the next story event arrives. Some scenes might also take place on screen, like getting to know the rest of your teammates. Normally, the free phase occupies a longer period of time, but this once it will last 3 days, so some actions, like learning new spells may be limited or outright sealed. At the end of free phase the player will receive bonuses or penalties to their social stats, reflecting the fame you got (or lost) since the last phase.

Those who have been in Fort know onscreen scenes work during free phase, but for those who haven't, it is pretty much like a Persona Social Link scene. The time is only vaguely referenced and the whole scene is isolated from the rest. What this means is that you wont interact with other PCs unless the scene is meant for that, and they will happen at an unespecified time within the free phase.

Basic gist of Off-Screen Actions. Idea is you get AP to spend on a number of actions. All are meant to be worth the same amount of AP (let's go with 1), but the amount you get per phase is limited so you cannot do everything. Also going to be open to more 'customized' ideas from the players, provided they aren't too crazy.

Off-screen Actions

-Hang out: Spend the time together with a single person you know or a group of acquaintances. It does not provide Favor on its own, but has a chance to trigger events where the problems of that person or group come to light. Depending on one´s performance, Favor and other rewards will be granted (like spell recipes).

-Meet: A formal reunion with someone you know or have heard of. The purpose here is not to merely pass the time but work towards reaching a common goal. It´s a ´business-like´ talk. Some rewards can be obtained at the end of the phase (like information on other individuals), while other investments may take a bit more time (like making your own after-school club). However, more often than not, these favors are not free of charge, so bear that in mind. Depending on one´s performance in the long term, events which increase one´s influence may trigger.

-Train: Work on learning new techniques, or reaching new heights with existing ones. Fitness, partners, and time available play a big role in the results one can achieve. Finding a good training spot is important, too. It´s also possible to trade part of one´s own growth to train someone else instead, greatly fortifying an existing bond (or forging a new one). Currently, custom and unique techniques cannot go above C-rank without a 'teacher-figure's supervision, and semi-unique can only reach B-rank if the character owns the respective spell recipe first. Regardless, whether that character can master the spell formula within a single free phase or more depends on training methods and time available. Undergoing 'extreme' training methods will be available in the future through supervision.

-Compete: Host or enter a small contest of any kind. Has a chance to increase Fitness, Academics or Battle Record depending on contest type (only one type allowed). Success depends on the relevant attribute current score and one's preparation (both needed). Yields better results the lowest the relevant attribute is. Pretty useless if the relevant attribute is pretty high already. If you don't do well in the contest, you won't get anything. That said, participation in certain events (like exams) is mandatory and performance will affect stats regardless of their current score.

-Purchase: Access to the school's spell recipe shop. Offers a variety of generic but useful and 'must-have' formulas. They must be trained before they can be fully utilized, unless one has already done so in the past. Everything on display is common and available to all but... A wise choice of words coupled with either constant purchases or a high enough Influence may let you sneak a peek at some hidden wares... Brings new stuff as the story progresses. Only one purchase per AP.
