Gaius is only stronger than Bedivere if you consider him in a vacuum and forget that Merlin exists, at least until Skadi gets released. Also, even if Bedivere does slightly less damage by self buffs, Bedivere has a 30% instant NP gauge skill, which is more than enough to make taking him more useful than Gaius.

NP1 Bedivere = [(7627+2000+1000) * 8 * 1.5 * (1+.3) * 0.23 * (1+.15) * (1+.16)] = 50864 average neutral class and attribute damage

NP5 Gaius = [(7497+2000+1000) * 20 * 0.8 * (1+.08) * 0.23 * (1+.16+.15) * (1+.18)+125] = 64614 average neutral class and attribute damage

Because our AP was very low back then, people run the 5AP node to empty the shop

That said any event is better than nothing to do whatsoever, so I'll take it.

I actually grinded more on the demon node than on the 5 AP.

the rerun iirc follows the more standard event format instead of forcing you to run the 5ap 58 times a day

tl;dr is that if you had a static drop bonus of 10, 5 AP was the best place for dango on a per AP basis, beating out 6 SSR CEs on 40 AP. Even if you didn't have a +10 static bonus, you still needed a significant number of gacha SSR CEs to make doing 40 AP more attractive.

No, people ran 5 AP because nothing beat it in terms of dango drops unless you had 5 mlb gacha SSR CEs. 6 SSR gacha CEs. Forgot that the original run didn't do the mlb improved bonus for CEs.

From when I was writing stuff for the dango event the first time around, the following are formula for average dango yields for 5 AP, 30 AP, and 40 AP. X represents your static boost and Y represents your % boost to base drops.



DW fixed the drop rate issue for the rerun to make 5 AP not the best place to farm anymore.
